Chapter 468 The Neighbor Might Be a Big Shot 7

Shao Shao noticed that Zi Ruo liked to laugh.

When he first came to the school, he always had a miserable face, his hair was messy, and his clothes were dirty, like a little beggar.

Everyone liked to bully him, and Shao Shao felt that it was wrong for everyone to do that.

Every time she saw Ziruo being bullied, she would chase away those annoying boys.

They took advantage of their strength and physique to bully Zizi as they pleased.

Last night, Shao Shao caught a cold. Her second uncle didn't lower her blood sugar, but instead made her drink medicine, which made her sweat all night.

Shao Shao couldn't sit still and insisted on going to school the next morning.

Hu Tianqin took her to the school. As soon as Shao Shao entered the school, she saw a group of people pouring ink onto Zi Ruo's books.

That was the third book Ziruo had ever lost. The Master said that if another book was "lost," Ziruo would be made to stand outside as punishment.

Even when she was bullied, she dared not tell her teacher, fearing that these mean classmates would bully her even more. Each time, she would only say that she had lost her book.

Zi Ruo hadn't arrived yet, and Shao Shao chased away those hateful classmates as usual.

Instead of scattering like before, those people surrounded Shao Shao.

"Why do you always speak up for that little beggar?"

The chubby boy in the lead shoved Shao Shao in displeasure, causing her to fall on her bottom.

The small group covered their mouths and burst into laughter, mocking Shao Shao's disheveled state.

Shao Shao didn't cry. She propped herself up on her hands, got up from the ground, and dusted off her new clothes.

The fat boy took a step forward and pushed Shao Shao down again.

Just then, Ziruo walked into the school.

He saw the scene of Shao Shao being pushed down, and then looked at the chubby boy who was smiling smugly, and a fire ignited in his heart.

She quickened her pace and rushed over, forcefully bumping into the boy, while Ziruo shielded Shao Shao.

"You are not allowed to bully Shao Shao!"

Although the chubby boy looked strong and powerful, he wasn't as resilient as a little girl. After falling to the ground, he pursed his lips a couple of times and then burst into tears.

Everyone was terrified by Ziruo's sudden rush, and fearing they would be the next ones to be knocked down, they scattered and dodged.

Some clever ones went and invited the teacher to come and judge the matter.

When the teacher arrived at the school, he saw the chubby boy lying on the ground, crying and rolling around.

Looking at Ziruo's indignant expression, there was nothing he couldn't understand.

He immediately walked over to Ziruo, grabbed his ear, and scolded him sternly: "You little rascal, you never study properly at school, all you do is cause trouble, and now you've even learned to hit your classmates."

Ziruo's ears were being pulled painfully.

Shao Shao spoke up for Zi Ruo from the side.

“Master, you’re mistaken. It’s not Ziruo’s fault; they attacked first.”

The teacher wouldn't listen, saying he would invite their family members to the academy. Beating people for no reason was a violation of discipline and they had to be punished.

Yi Mu no longer skips work without a valid reason.

Every morning after dropping Ziruo off at the academy, he would stop by the market on his way home.

She learned cooking skills from the blacksmith next door, and now she can cook a dish or two. Ziruo doesn't look down on his half-baked cooking skills at all.

We picked Ziruo up from the academy at noon for lunch, and then took her back after lunch.

Then Yi Mu went to work in a brothel, teaching the girls to play the piano.

That day, Yi Mu bought two carp and was about to show off his knife skills when Aunt Li, who lived at the front of the alley, knocked on his door.

"Young Master Yi, your son Ziruo has made a mistake at the academy. Someone from the academy has come and asked you to go and take a look."

Upon hearing this, Yi Mu frowned. With Zi Ruo's gentle nature, what mistakes could she possibly make?

At the same time, Hu Tianqin was informed that Shao Shao had argued with the teacher at the academy and almost made the teacher faint from anger.

He'd better go to the academy and apologize to the teacher.

Hu Tianqin put down the hammer, picked up the clothes hanging to the side, and hurried towards the academy.
