Yi Mu showed no regard for their past affection and ordered Ye Yunxiang to go back and copy the Rules for Women a hundred times. She was not allowed to leave the palace until she finished copying them.
Ye Yunxiang left with a grim expression, and on the way she ran into Beimen Lin, who was returning under the cover of night.
The palace maids were all there. Ye Yunxiang looked at Beimen Lin with a resentful gaze and gave him a bow.
"Your Highness."
Bei Menlin nodded, seemingly unaware that she was in a bad mood, and turned to leave.
Ye Yunxiang stood there for a long time, wiped the tears from her face, and led a group of palace maids back to her courtyard.
There was another knock on the door of the Emperor's bedchamber. Fuxi opened the door, looking embarrassed, and asked, "Your Highness, is the Emperor... or is it the Prince?"
Bei Menlin: "I have urgent business with the Emperor. Please inform him, Your Excellency."
He now holds a prestigious position, and everyone in the capital is eager to curry favor with him, including Fuxi.
Yi Mu knew that Bei Menlin would come looking for him, and the ministers probably all thought that Bei Menlin was looking at him with provocation.
Only Yi Mu knew that this wolf clearly wanted to reclaim the interest he had promised.
With Yi Mu's permission, Fu Xi allowed Bei Men Lin to enter the bedroom.
Yi Mu lay on the bed, his eyes half-closed, watching the man walk to the bedside and take off his clothes.
He smiled and said, "You've had a long and tiring journey. Let's settle what we talked about last time later."
Bei Menlin lifted the curtain, climbed onto the bed, and pinned Yi Mu down, his eyes filled with undisguised lust.
"You asked me to repel the Yuezhi, and I did. Now you want to renege on your promise?"
With his current physique, Yi Mu couldn't withstand Bei Men Lin's full weight pressing down on him.
He reached out and pushed against the man's chest. "It's not that I don't want you to do it, it's just that... um!"
Bei Menlin kissed him forcefully, pushed his obstructing hand above his head, and locked it with one hand.
How can his mouth be so sweet? Is he eating sweet honey fruits all the time?
Bei Menlin was still somewhat rational; he released Yi Mu before Yi Mu nearly suffocated from the kiss.
Yi Mu gasped for breath and used both hands and feet to pull Bei Menlin off his body.
He touched his pounding chest and glared at Beimen Lin with a hint of annoyance.
"I told you not to do this, why won't you listen?"
Bei Menlin found it amusing; was Bei Menmu trying to charm him?
He brushed a strand of Yi Mu's hair aside with his hand. It smelled wonderful, not like a woman's perfume, but a very unique scent that he liked.
Yi Mu turned his body to face Bei Menlin.
"I'd like to make a deal with you. Next time we do that, I'll be a little gentler."
Bei Menlin remained silent, wrapping strands of hair around his fingers, round and round.
Seeing that he didn't speak, Yi Mu put his hand on his face and pinched it hard with his fingers.
In Bei Menlin's view, the skin on Yi Mu's face swelled up at a speed visible to the naked eye.
He frowned. Seeing that he still didn't speak, Yi Mu gritted his teeth, sat up, and, under Bei Menlin's burning gaze, unbuttoned his undergarment, revealing his fair chest.
Most of the marks left on his body by Bei Menlin had disappeared, but the ravaged marks on the two red spots on his chest were still there.
Bei Menlin left half a month ago.
He knew he had been a bit rough last time, but half a month later, the marks on Beimen Mu's body were still there.
Is his body made of glass? So fragile?
No wonder he said to be gentle. Bei Menlin's gaze was fixed on those two pink and red fruits, and he struggled to look away.
Reaching out, Bei Menlin pulled Bei Menmu into his arms, his hot breath brushing against Yi Mu's ear, causing her skin to flush crimson.
"I'll let you go today. Don't worry, I'll be much gentler in the future."
