No guy wants to be told he has a girl's face, not even gay guys.
Yi Mu gave Guan Shengye a forced smile: "Classmate, you might have some eye problems. You should go to the infirmary after class to get it checked out."
This kid actually dared to say he was blind! Guan Shengye laughed in exasperation, stretched out his foot, and prepared to teach him a lesson.
Suddenly, Yi Mu pulled the book that was lying between the two tables away.
She propped her chin up, turned her face to the side, and showed him the back of her head, making it clear that she didn't want to talk to this transfer student anymore.
Hey! Guan Sheng is so wild, no one has ever dared to give him a hard time.
"That pretty boy!" Guan Shengye shoved Yi Mu.
Caught off guard, Yi Mu's elbow slipped, and his head nearly hit the table.
Guan Shengye pulled the book back to the center of the table, grinned, and said in a deliberately enunciated tone, "The teacher asked you to help me."
Yi Mu didn't have the heart to call him out on it. "You're a problem student, what are you pretending to be so eager to learn?"
The morning reading time was very short, and the bell rang to signal the end of get out of class soon afterward.
Yi Mu was called to the homeroom teacher's office for a long talk, the main point of which was to take good care of the new student.
The homeroom teacher subtly mentioned Guan Shengye's background: his father had donated a building and a swimming pool to the school.
Yi Mu has a mature soul and understands the subtext in the adults' words.
He assured the teacher that he would take good care of the new student, and then returned to the classroom.
Guan Shengye, like an old man, propped his studded leather boots on the table and chatted casually with the class beauty in the seat in front of him.
"It was so sudden that Guan Shao transferred to our school. There was no word of it beforehand."
Guan Shengye lifted his eyelids, glanced at Yi Mu who was walking over, and curled the corners of his mouth.
"I've heard that there are many beautiful girls at Yun Gao High School, especially a great beauty in the experimental class named Yun Tong. Song An has been saying that he would love to meet her someday."
The class beauty immediately dropped her inhibitions, her eyes brightening considerably as she excitedly asked, "Really? I actually have a lot of free time; I'm available anytime."
Yi Mu pulled out a chair and sat down, just in time to hear this sentence.
Jian Yiying let out an incomprehensible nasal sound and didn't say anything.
The class beauty realized that she seemed to be too flustered, and Jian Yiying's snort was clearly a mockery.
Yun Tong didn't get a response from Guan Shengye; instead, she was mocked by this country bumpkin, and her face flushed with embarrassment and anger.
She bit her lip and asked Jian Yiying, "What do you mean?"
Jian Yiying pretended not to hear her words.
It wasn't until Yun Tong asked again, clearly annoyed, that she pretended to be clueless and said, "Huh? I didn't say anything."
The kind of drama that ordinary high school students engage in is really not very sophisticated.
Yun Tong looks like a scheming woman, but she's actually just a silly girl who keeps repeating, "I heard you humming."
Jian Yiying innocently explained, "That's because I have a cold."
Yi Mu almost laughed. What the hell is this cold?
Before he entered the classroom, he heard some classmates say that the new female student was really strong and had installed the water bottle all by herself.
Feeling ashamed, Yun Tong slumped back onto her desk in a huff and remained sullen for the next two classes.
Yi Mu calmly took notes.
High school knowledge was a piece of cake for him, a graduate of a prestigious university.
However, having not been in contact with it for many years, I am still a bit rusty on some of the knowledge points.
In stark contrast to his focused concentration was Guan Shengye, who seemed to be having an ADHD episode.
He should have had his own books at his original school; he can just bring them over and use them directly.
The old man arrived empty-handed, and Yi Mu's book was spread out between the two of them, but he didn't even bother to glance at it.
During both classes, he would either play games on his phone or lie down and sleep, completely ignoring the teacher's unpleasant expression.
But no teacher said anything to him.
