Six people, driving two cars.
We set off in the afternoon and arrived outside the Grand League in the evening.
Just as rumored, there were no zombies around the Major League.
At least they didn't see a single zombie along the way.
The so-called Grand League has carved out a piece of land in the countryside, far from the crowded city center. Its exact size is unknown at a glance.
The architecture is not aesthetically pleasing; it only has tall walls that you have to crane your neck to see the edges.
The towering wall in front of the gate looks just like an ancient city. The difference is that ancient cities are usually guarded by soldiers, but here you can't see anyone on it, only the infrared beams of sniper rifles shining on you.
Who are you?
The sound of a loudspeaker came from the wall, and the speaker's voice was very authoritative.
Xiang Qing stood in front, raised his hand, and said politely, "We are survivors. We finally managed to escape all the way here. We heard that this place takes in survivors, so we came to try our luck."
The voice then rang out, devoid of emotion, like that of a cold robot.
"The Alliance is nearing capacity and stopped accepting survivors a year ago. You should leave immediately."
Xiang Qing didn't move, and the red dot that had landed on him moved to his forehead.
"Leave now, or you will be killed on sight!"
The voice turned cold, and then several figures in camouflage uniforms appeared on the wall.
Yi Mu has good eyesight and can see several foreign faces among them, including both white and black people.
Xiang Qing naturally saw it too, and he knew in his heart that something bad had definitely happened to the Grand League.
He lowered his body and softened his stance: "Sorry to bother you, we'll leave now."
He backed away, and the others followed him.
Yu Die hesitated for a moment, put her hand to her mouth, and shouted towards the wall and tower: "My father is Yu He, and I am his daughter Yu Die. Is he inside?"
Yi Mu cursed under his breath, calling him an idiot.
Xiang Qing cursed, pulled her behind him, and loudly explained, "She's talking nonsense. She's not smart. Please don't take her seriously."
But they became interested.
"We do have a man named Yu He around here. Is Yu He really your father?"
Yu Die had had enough of the life of wandering and fear. With the shelter right in front of her, she couldn't care less about anything else.
āIām not lying to you, my father really is Yu He. He used to be the General Staff of the 13th Army Group.ā
Yi Mu turned and left. Being with such an idiot, even ten lives wouldn't be enough to keep him entertained.
"Hey you in white over there, why are you leaving? Did I tell you to leave?"
The authoritative voice changed tone, and a hint of ill intent crept into the words.
"Since she is Chief of Staff Yu's daughter, she cannot be turned away. All of you come in, including those two police cars."
They were still careless. They had considered that if something happened, the van would be too heavy and slow to move, so they drove a police car instead.
They could have left, but thanks to Yu Die, they have not only been detained, but their identities will likely be investigated as well.
If it were just a regular shelter, that would be one thing, but people from another country have appeared on C country's territory.
The situation here is so complex that it's impossible to guess.
The only saving grace is that not all of them came, otherwise it would have been a complete disaster.
Once inside, you realize just how airtight it is, with the entire space covered by solid steel plates.
Every so often, only a small light bulb illuminates the path, resulting in very limited visibility.
The further in you go, the denser the sentry posts become.
