Even before the apocalypse occurred, cinemas were already full of movies with apocalyptic themes.
Everyone should remember the movie called "Resident Evil," in which a group of conspirators cloned a large number of cyborgs as weapons.
The scene before me, while not exactly the same as in the movie, is pretty much the same.
However, the people staying in the experimental chambers here are all different.
The leading officer did not answer Imu's question, but only kept telling him to move forward, and drew his gun, pointing it at Imu's head as a threat.
Yi Mu stood motionless, staring at the officer, and ordered him to bring the head of the laboratory.
The officer initially didn't want to pay him any attention, but for some reason, a voice in his head urged him to do as the man in front of him ordered.
The officer turned on his communicator, his voice dull: "Calling command center."
Upon hearing the words "command room," Yi Mu's ominous premonition reached its peak.
He looked up at the ceiling warily, but there was nothing there.
But Yi Mu knew that there was a small monitor hidden in an inconspicuous crack in the ceiling.
In the command center, several people watching the screen shivered to varying degrees.
It's so strange. No one can tell where the surveillance cameras are at a glance. Even the installers forget where they are every time they walk by.
Fortunately, the plan was launched; otherwise, this immune and superhuman named Yi Mu would have caused who knows what kind of trouble in the future.
The small command room was packed with people.
Almost all of the base's top officials were present.
Nie Han sat in front of the monitor, pointed the microphone at him, and his voice was amplified.
"You are my best work. I didn't want to make a move against you, but you are just too arrogant."
Yi Mu's expression was icy. He looked up at the top, as if he could see through the hard concrete slab and see everyone standing on it.
"Do you think you still have the power to decide my life or death?"
Having escaped from the laboratory, Yi Mu was no longer the pitiful creature who could be tormented at will.
He closed his eyes, slowly raised his hand, and the soldiers around him with guns were lifted up by an unnamed force.
He was horrified when his body was thrown against the walls, his bones broke, and his spleen ruptured.
Amidst the wailing, Yi Mu opened his eyes, a blank expression on his face, and curled one corner of his mouth: "Talking from the shadows, are you a coward?"
The power that erupted in that instant left everyone in the command room stunned.
So this is the power of superhumans; it's terrifying.
Everyone was terrified, but Nie Han calmly smiled.
"I remember you didn't have such a bad temper before..."
Yi Mu interrupted him impatiently, "Stop talking nonsense, what exactly do you want?"
As he was speaking, a blue screen suddenly descended from the ceiling.
Nie Han appeared on screen with a baby face that looked no different from three years ago.
Do you know what's all around you?
Yi Mu's face was gloomy, and he remained silent.
Nie Han revealed a smile, the kind of smile Yi Mu was familiar with—the manic smile he gave when talking about the scientific experiments he loved.
"A full three thousand cyborgs, each of them alone could withstand the firepower of a tank, isn't that amazing! My greatest creation!"
Yi Mu cursed, gritting his teeth, "You madman, you'll definitely die a horrible death!"
Nie Han laughed: "We'll talk about that after I die. Now, let's say hello to these adorable cyborgs."
All the experimental chamber doors were opened simultaneously, and the slumbering cyborgs inside opened their eyes and walked out of the chambers in unison.
Yi Mu turned his head, and the three thousand cyborgs, who had been hanging their heads, raised their heads and looked at him in unison.
It's even more terrifying than a horde of zombies.
Yi Mu's hair stood on end, and he clenched his fists.
