Damn it! Are you a dog?
Yi Mu broke free from Guan Shengye's grasp, punched him, and roared, "Are you fucking crazy?"
Guan Shengye was jolted awake by the punch, and he grinned as if his lips were stinging.
He looked at Yi Mu's slightly flushed, angry face, which was so close to his own, and realized what a stupid thing he had done.
Guan Shengye rubbed his head and came up with the lame excuse: "I drank too much last night, and I still feel like I'm not sober yet."
Yi Mu reached out and pushed him away, causing Guan Shengye to stumble.
"Smoking, drinking, and fighting, you're really something, Guan Shengye."
After saying this, Yi Mu turned and left.
Guan Shengye realized that he had offended the class monitor.
After returning to the classroom, he took the initiative to make amends.
Imu ignored it and focused on listening to the lecture and taking notes.
Guan Shengye reached out, his target Yi Mu's pencil case.
His hand reached for the zipper, pulled it open slightly, and Yi Mu's eyes drooped, his tone indifferent: "What are you doing?"
"Could I borrow some correction tape?"
Yi Mu tapped the back of his hand with his pen, "What are you pretending to be, you haven't written a single word."
Guan Shengye laughed. He didn't pull his hand back, and cheekily pulled a pencil out of Yi Mu's pencil case.
"You're ignoring me, so how do you know I didn't write a single word?"
Yi Mu glanced at the teacher on the stage, lowered his head, snatched the pencil back from his hand, and warned in a low voice, "Don't forget the agreement we made."
"I have a bad memory of what agreements we made."
Guan Shengye pretended to be stupid. Looking at Yi Mu's furrowed brows, he suddenly understood what the teacher meant by "boundless elegance".
"Behave yourself in class. I won't force you to listen, and don't bother me."
Guan Shengye leaned closer to him and whispered, "If you lend me your pencil, I won't cause any trouble."
Yi Mu gave him a complicated look, as if he were looking at a naughty child. In order to listen to the lesson quietly, he threw the remaining pencils from his pencil case to him.
As expected, Guan Shengye didn't bother Yi Mu anymore. Even after class ended, Yi Mu was still fiddling with something in his notebook.
Guan Shengye didn't straighten up until the last class of the morning ended.
"Here's your pencil back."
Guan Shengye returned the half-used pencil to Yi Mu, along with a sheet of A4 sketch paper.
Yi Mu was tidying up the books on the table. He glanced at them casually, paused, and turned back to face them.
A sketch leaps onto the paper, depicting him with lifelike features, including his nose and eyes.
Yi Mu looked at Guan Shengye in surprise, "You can draw?"
Guan Shengye's eyes gleamed with a hint of smugness: "I can do a lot more things than that. I'll draw you a picture every day from now on."
Yi Mu pulled out a textbook with a large cover, put the drawing inside, and advised, "I don't want you to draw one every day. There are only a few days left until the midterm exam."
"You've transferred to a new class, so take your first exam seriously."
Guan Shengye hated being lectured, but Yi Mu was an exception.
Guan Shengye felt comfortable just listening to him speak.
"So, does this mean we've made up?"
Yi Mu touched his ear and said seriously, "I don't like being joked about like this. If you do this again, it won't be as simple as just punching you."
Guan Shengye raised his hands in surrender, "I was wrong today. If I lose my temper again, you can beat me as hard as you want."
Yi Mu shook his head, unable to understand what teenagers think about all day long.
Halfway through the semester, an exam is scheduled to assess students' learning outcomes over the period of time.
Yi Mu was well prepared. The day after the exam was the weekend, so he packed his bags and went back to his grandmother's house in the next city.
