The next day, fearing that Li Xiaoyun would find out, Yi Mu got up early and went to work despite his aching back.
Although the office chair was soft, it wasn't as comfortable as his bed at home. By the end of the morning, his back injury had worsened, and his face had turned pale.

The pain was unbearable, and he thought he should take the afternoon off to go to the hospital.

He threw the soiled paper into the trash can and said to Yi Mu, "I'll give you a week to recover. Once you're healed, go back to the company and report directly to the president's office."
