Guan Shengye still didn't realize there was anything to be angry about.
The homeroom teacher kept bringing up the matter throughout the morning reading session, and when the bell rang, she coldly called Yi Mu to her office.
He vaguely realized that his decision to submit almost a blank exam paper for the midterm was a bit willful.
The word "willful" does not exist in Guan Shengye's dictionary.
However, if the fact that the class's average score is lower than that of other classes makes the homeroom teacher take his anger out on Yi Mu, then he is being willful.
During breaks between classes, Guan Shengye would always sneak out for a cigarette during the short ten-minute break.
This time he didn't go out; he stayed in his seat, waiting for Yimu to return.
Yi Mu didn't return until just before class was about to start.
His expression remained unchanged. After returning to his seat, he pulled out a math book from the pile of books and opened it in front of him.
The homeroom teacher couldn't possibly not tell Yi Mu why the class scores had fallen behind, and Guan Shengye was waiting for Yi Mu to lecture him.
After waiting for a class period, Yi Mu acted as if nothing had happened, talking to his classmates as usual, and patiently answering questions when asked.
Guan Shengye endured it for two classes, but finally couldn't hold it in any longer.
During the break between classes, he kept pestering Yi Mu to ask what the homeroom teacher had told him.
Yi Mu said calmly, "She was so angry she almost had a stroke. She never expected you to hand in a blank paper."
Even if I score over 50 points in all seven subjects combined, it won't drag the class down.
Guan Shengye didn't care what that woman thought; he only cared whether Yi Mu had been targeted by the other woman.
"She's not blaming you, is she?"
Yi Mu stopped, glanced at him, and smiled helplessly. This fool was adorably foolish.
“Classmate, I’m the class monitor. How can I not take responsibility for the class’s declining grades?”
Guan Shengye felt an indescribable sense of guilt, and he ruffled his hair.
“I’ll go and talk to her. If she has anything to say, she should say it to me. Why is she taking it out on you?”
"You're such a child," Yi Mu said, pulling Guan Shengye's arm. "Don't cause trouble."
Guan Shengye stopped struggling at all and behaved like a child, walking towards the playground with Yi Mu.
The two walked into the class line, with Yi Mu standing in the front row and Guan Shengye standing behind him.
Yimu turned around and warmed up in the sun.
"Your teacher asked me to tutor you. You must be in the top 30 of the class before the next exam."
Will you cooperate with me?
Happiness came too fast!
Just a moment ago, Guan Shengye was thinking about arguing with that woman, but now he wished he could give his dear homeroom teacher a big red envelope.
Yi Mu's fair face looked even more delicate in the sunlight.
Guan Shengye began to understand why the girls in his class always used the word "angel" to describe Yi Mu.
"I'm a hundred thousand times willing!" Guan Shengye shouted, his smile a little silly.
Yi Mu didn't understand why he had suddenly become so agitated.
He originally thought it would take some effort to persuade Guan Shengye, so his cooperation was perfect.
Yi Mu looked at Guan Shengye's midterm exam paper.
Surprisingly, Guan Shengye encountered history questions the most, and his accuracy rate was 100%.
He only wrote his name on the other test papers, and even nonchalantly skipped the multiple-choice questions that he had to fill in with his eyes closed.
"You're just being lazy and don't want to write, it's not that you don't know how."
Yi Mu placed the test paper in front of Guan Shengye and pointed at it with his finger.
Guan Shengye's gaze fell on his fingertips. Once you approve of someone, all their qualities become irresistibly endearing.
Just like now, Guan Shengye looked at Yi Mu's fingers, on which white crescent moons bloomed on pink nails, which he had heard represented health.
