Yi Mu wasn't stupid; he could see through Yan Shengzhou's provocation.
Yan Shengzhou can act, and so can he.
Yi Mu looked troubled. "Unfortunately, I haven't been feeling well lately and want to go back to the hotel to rest as soon as possible. You guys have fun, I won't go."
Yan Shengzhou's smile remained, but his tone was disappointed. "Is that so?"
As soon as he finished speaking, a ceramic flowerpot fell from the sky onto the narrow street.
Yan Shengzhou reacted quickly and pulled Yi Mu away.
The flowerpot almost landed on Yimu's head.
Yi Mu froze, looking up at the smiling man in front of him.
Yan Shengzhou looked up, his face still showing signs of shock and worry for Yi Mu.
"Teacher Yi, are you alright?"
Yi Mu clenched his fist, lowered his head slightly, and asked, "What do you want to do?"
Yan Shengzhou looked at the large group of staff and assistants running towards him, straightened his collar, and said with a smile, "I'll treat you to dinner, baby~"
Yi Mu got into the crew's car. The car in front belonged to Yan Shengzhou, a rather high-profile Cayenne.
The assistant said enviously, "That's great, her boyfriend is rich and good-looking too."
Yi Mu stood next to him with a dark expression. Although the two brothers looked alike, their personalities were worlds apart.
During the years that Yan Shengchao and Yi Mu were together, he took care of Yi Mu like a son, and couldn't bear to see him get hurt in the slightest.
Yan Shengzhou, on the other hand, immediately tried to scare him, saying that if that flowerpot really fell, even if he were a monster, he wouldn't be able to withstand it!
What a despicable person!
Leng Jia actually wanted to spend a sweet evening with her fiancé, but Yan Shengzhou treating the entire crew to dinner made her look good.
"Shengzhou," Leng Jia called out her fiancé's name.
Yan Shengzhou glanced down at her, his gaze respectful. "What's wrong?"
Leng Jia revealed a girlish coquettishness and shook her head: "It's nothing, I just wanted to call your name."
Yan Shengzhou could tell that Leng Jia liked him, but he didn't want to reciprocate.
He was just a marriage partner arranged by his family; there was no real affection between them.
Compared to his fiancée, whose face was blurred, he preferred teasing the little fox.
Yan Shengzhou was very generous, booking more than a dozen tables at a hotel that most people wouldn't even dare to dream of.
The lead actors, director, and producer sat at one table. To Yi Mu's left was Yan Zhuang, and to his right was Yan Shengzhou.
Yan Shengzhou raised his glass, first expressing his gratitude to the crew for taking care of Leng Jia. After receiving everyone's blessings for their happiness, he didn't say anything and just drank the wine in his glass.
Yi Mu didn't want to stay with this troublesome person, so he kept drinking the water on the table. When his stomach was full, he stood up apologetically and said he needed to go to the bathroom.
He had only been gone for less than two minutes when Yan Zhuang stood up.
He actually drank three glasses of red wine, but because he was still a student, no one had high expectations of him.
Yi Mu was about to slip away after relieving himself of the water when someone stood next to him as he was washing his hands.
Looking in the mirror, Yan Zhuang's face was flushed; he was clearly drunk.
"Brother Mu, don't go back later. Sister Leng Jia's boyfriend has ulterior motives."
Yi Mu chuckled: "You also think he has malicious intentions, don't you? What a despicable guy."
Yan Zhuang secretly observed the man. He used to have no interest in men, but on the day of the audition, Yi Mu had given him a huge visual impact.
He feels incredibly happy whenever he's in the same space as Yi Mu.
"Let's go back to the hotel together."
Yi Mu nodded: "Come on, I'll drive. I'm exhausted after a long day, who wants to keep them company?"
