Yi Mu frowned and tilted his head. The man reeked of alcohol, making him dizzy.
Song An had a fiery temper, and when he didn't get a reply, he punched Yi Mu in the stomach.
"Damn it, I'm asking you a question, are you mute?"
Yi Mu grunted, turned his head to look at the person in front of him, and said with some difficulty, "Idiot, I'm about to suffocate from being choked."
No one had ever dared to call Song An that before. Song An moved his hand upwards and grabbed Yi Mu by the neck.
Yi Mu's face flushed red, and he struggled to raise his hand, aiming at Song An's elbow.
Under the influence of alcohol, Song An thought he might as well just kill Yi Mu right there, but his arm suddenly went numb, and he let go.
Yi Mu clutched his neck, gasped for breath, and coughed until tears streamed down his face.
Song An snapped out of his daze, his eyes fixed on Yi Mu, who was half-bent over coughing incessantly, a hint of amusement on his face.
The younger brother stepped forward obsequiously.
"Brother An, this brat doesn't know what's good for him. Let the brothers teach him a lesson, and he'll listen to them."
Song An glanced at him indifferently, "I'm still here, do you need to make a move?"
The younger brother, having failed to flatter the younger brother, awkwardly stepped back and hurriedly said, "Of course, you should do it."
Song An grabbed Yi Mu and slammed him against the wall, leaning in close. He intended to say something harsh, but then his eyes were suddenly drawn to Yi Mu's face.
I only glanced at him and thought he was abnormally pale, even paler than a woman, without really looking at what he looked like.
At this close range, Song An finally saw what Yi Mu looked like, and then he was stunned.
In Jian Yiying's words, that class monitor was utterly wicked, a scheming man who specifically instigated Guan Shengye.
Song An imagined a tattletale with glasses, freckles, and a sinister look—just like their cowardly class monitor.
But this boy named Yi Mu in front of me...
Song An stared at his delicate yet not effeminate face, not understanding why her own face had suddenly become so hot.
At the same time, Song An regretted it so much that he wanted to punch himself. He had hit him so hard just now, and wondered if he had hurt him.
Yi Mu waited for Song An's next round of ridicule, but after waiting for a long time, he only saw Song An become dumbfounded as if he had been frozen in place.
If the boss doesn't give the order, the underlings won't dare to make any moves.
A group of young men stood in a circle around a wall, eerily quiet.
Passersby caught a glimpse of it from afar, but dared not linger and quickened their pace to walk away.
It took Song An a while to find his voice, and he asked dryly, "Um, are you alright?"
Yi Mu looked at him like he was an idiot, without saying a word.
Song An also felt that the question he asked was quite stupid, and turned around to scold the group of lackeys.
Song An rubbed his hands together in front of Yi Mu and explained why he had come to him.
“Shengye has been acting very strangely lately, and we brothers can’t help but worry.”
"Brother, I drank too much tonight. If I did anything wrong, please apologize to you, squad leader."
Yi Mu wasn't that magnanimous; he immediately accepted an apology after being beaten up.
He glanced down at his watch; there was still half an hour until curfew.
He straightened up and looked at Song An mockingly: "You didn't specifically come to ambush me when he wasn't here, did you?"
Song An raised an eyebrow, but did not become angry or embarrassed.
"That's right. If he were here, who would dare to touch you? If he got angry, he would cripple me and that would be the least of his worries."
Yi Mu was not moved by these words.
He raised his head slightly, meeting Song An's gaze, his eyes filled with sharp, icy intent.
"I'll let it slide today because you're not fully mature, but if there's a second time—"
Yi Mu lowered his voice by three octaves and tapped Song An's shoulder twice with his finger.
A cold warning: "I'll repay you tenfold, and make you suffer terribly."
