Chapter 957 [Extra] He Can Have My Child 9

Qu Huang was in a bad mood because of Yu Ge. He hadn't been home much lately, and even when he was home, the two of them barely exchanged a few words.

In just a few days, it will be our seventh wedding anniversary.

It's said that the seven-year itch is the worst thing in a marriage, when couples grow apart and have nothing in common. If they can get through that, then they can just slowly get through the rest of the year.

If we can't make it through, we'll have no choice but to go our separate ways.

Qu Huang still liked Yu Ge as much as before, but she wasn't sure if Yu Ge still felt the same way about her.

She suspected that Yu Ge was having an affair, but because she was afraid that the truth would be something she couldn't accept, she had been avoiding it until today.

Just as Qu Tu said, she is not like the person she used to be at all.

Love can make people confident, or it can make them incredibly insecure.

Qu Huang is the latter; she likes Yu Ge far more than Yu Ge likes her.

That's why I'm so humble, afraid to ask questions for fear of bothering him, and afraid to take a step further for fear of disgusting him.

But what if she saw a young girl sitting not far from her, arm in arm with her husband?

Qu Huang remained remarkably calm, a composure honed through years of crisis management experience within the company.

She was certain that the girl was not a relative of Yu Ge's family. She had been married into the Yu family for nearly seven years and knew very well that there were several unmarried girls in the Yu family.

If it's not her younger sister, then there's only one possibility.

The girl was at most twenty years old, with a youthful and delicate appearance, rosy lips, and eyes that needed no makeup—large and bright.

She looked intently at Yu Ge, her eyes filled with both admiration and deep affection.

Qu Huang thought that if she were sitting opposite her, she would definitely be thinking about how to devour this delicious girl.

There was a box of ice cream in front of the girl. She scooped up a little with a spoon and fed it to Yu Ge.

Qu Huang watched as Yu Ge ate the ice cream. Just a week earlier, when Qu Huang had fed him a spoonful of ice cream, he frowned and said, "Only you women like to eat this sweet stuff."

Qu Huang never expected them to be so adept at using double standards.

"Gogo, I've had my eye on that bag for ages, when are you going to buy it for me?"

The girl spoke with a sickeningly sweet Taiwanese accent, half innocent and half coquettish.

Yu Ge raised the corners of his mouth and teased the girl: "I asked you to do it, but you haven't done it yet."

The girl blushed and slapped Yu Ge's hand, which was blocking the table: "Ugh, don't talk about these things here."

Rong Yan noticed that Qu Huang had no intention of touching the coffee in front of her. "Sister, is the coffee not to your liking?"

Qu Huang raised her wrist and glanced at it. It was a watch worth over a million dollars, and the diamond on it was worth more than all the designer brands the girl was wearing.

Are all men this despicable, abandoning their considerate and gentle wives to cheat on their partners? They've had enough of Buddha Jumps Over the Wall, but salted dried vegetables have a different kind of flavor too?

Perhaps because they've been married for so long, Yu Ge has forgotten what kind of person Qu Huang is.

Qu Huang picked up her bag, smiled at Rong Yan, and said, "I'm going to the restroom. I'll be right back."

Rong Yan didn't think much of it and agreed.

About ten minutes later, Qu Huang let down her wavy hair, put on a flawless makeup, raised her delicate red lips, and walked towards the two people.

She sat down abruptly, opened her bag, and under the girl's bewildered gaze and Yu Ge's unpleasant expression, pulled a menthol cigarette from the sterling silver cigarette case, pressed the lighter with her crimson fingernails, and lit the cigarette with a click.

"Miss, you've come to the wrong place."

A woman's innate intuition made the girl wary of this woman with a powerful aura.

Qu Huang didn't even bother to look at her. "You have no right to speak here. Shut your mouth."

Then he looked at Yu Ge with a half-smile, took a drag of his cigarette, and exhaled a pungent cloud of smoke.

"Tell me, how long has it been?"
