Chapter 108 Extreme Cold 8

For a moment, Joey almost forgot the pain in his leg. A few seconds later, he came to his senses and immediately nodded, "That's a great idea!"

Xia Linyin smiled and said, "I think so too."

They cautiously pushed open the door to the room, and walked out while warily observing their surroundings.

"I think I heard some sounds," Joey said softly, sounding a little uncertain.

“You heard me right.” Xia Linyin pointed to the open door on the left side of the corridor ahead.

The two walked along the wall to the door. Xia Linyin bent down and peeked inside.

What a small world! She actually saw Hanova!

Hanova was slumped over a table, his hands gripping the edge so tightly that his knuckles turned white from the effort.

He looked like he was in a lot of pain, and he kept making muffled groans from his throat.

“It’s Hanova!” Charlene said, turning to Joey.

"That bastard!" Joey limped angrily toward inside, but the moment he saw what was behind Hanova, his anger abruptly stopped.

A tentacle was swallowing Hanova's body; most of Hanova's body was inside the tentacle's mouth.

The slowly wriggling tentacles had already swallowed him up to his waist.

He gripped the table tightly to prevent himself from being dragged away by the tentacles so quickly.

But his trembling fingers showed that he couldn't hold on for much longer.

Hanova looked at Charlene and Joey, perhaps surprised that they were still alive, and the muscles in his face twitched.

Joey stepped on a pistol. He picked it up from the ground and said, "Xia, let's go."

Hanova grunted when he saw the pistol in Joey's hand.

Joey turned around and saw the pain and longing in Hanova's eyes. After thinking for a moment, he walked over and handed the pistol to Hanova. "Don't say I left you nothing, you bastard."

Hanova grabbed the pistol, raised his hand with trembling hands, and fired a shot in the direction of Charlene and Joey.

Perhaps because his hands were shaking so badly, Hanova missed all his shots.

"Oh!" Joey exclaimed, clutching her head, and quickly ran away with Xia Linyin.

Hanova pointed the gun at his temple, pulled the trigger, and "click"—

The bullet was not fired.

The pistol was out of bullets; the bullets he fired at Xia Linyin and Joey were the last bullets in the pistol.

Hanova remained raised, his eyes rolling, revealing despair and regret.

My fingers could no longer hold on and slipped off the edge of the table. "Ah—"

Hanova screamed as he was dragged away by the tentacles.

The small boat carrying torpedoes was right next to the Yage cruise ship. Xia Linyin and Joey carefully left the cruise ship and ran to the small boat.

It was still pouring rain outside. In the darkness of the night, the dark sea surged and roared, and the waves crashed against the dilapidated boat.

Large raindrops pelted her face, carrying a chilling cold. Xia Linyin wiped her face and went into the cabin with Joey.

The cabin was already flooded and it probably wouldn't last much longer before sinking. Fortunately, the small boat didn't need to go too far; it just needed to carry the torpedo and crash into the cruise ship.

The distance between the small boat and the cruise ship is not long.

Joey sat down in the driver's seat and turned the switch, shouting, "Eon! Comeon! Comeon!"

A series of clicking sounds rang out, but before Joey's eyes could even light up, the sound stopped.

"eon! Comeon! Comeon!"

Xia Linyin clenched her fists nervously and held her breath.

After Joey tried three times, the ship finally started.

"Yes!" Joey jumped up happily and gave Charlene a high five.

With its bow facing the cruise ship, the ship slowly sailed towards it.

After the torpedo is launched, a countdown timer is displayed on the torpedo.

After leaving the cabin, the two went up to the deck.

Charlene looked ahead, and following her gaze, Joey saw the blurry outline of a small island. He exclaimed excitedly, "My God! It's an island!"

Joy was overjoyed. "Xia, let's go there quickly!"

"No! I still need to save Trian!" Xia Linyin withdrew her gaze and turned to walk towards the cruise ship.

Joey exclaimed, "You're going back to the cruise ship!"

"Yes."

Seeing that Xia Linyin wasn't joking, Joey said with emotion, "Xia, you must truly love Trian."

“Well… good luck,” Joey said. “Xia, I’m sorry, I have to part ways with you. I can’t be of much help if I go. Don’t forget the cruise ship is about to explode.”

A loud commotion suddenly came from the top deck of the cruise ship. Xia Linyin didn't delay any longer and quickly boarded the cruise ship.

In the chaotic hall, the enormous head broke through the ship's deck, finally revealing the sea monster's true form.

Like a prehistoric monster, the sea monster was enormous, with a mouth full of densely packed teeth, each tooth hooked, ferocious and terrifying.

Its slimy skin was wrinkled like an old tree root, and beneath the sea monster's ugly head were writhing tentacles.

It inevitably brings to mind a mutated, giant, loud octopus.

Trian and John stared in shock at the enormous creature before them. Before they could react, the sea monster's tentacles lashed out at them.

A tentacle wrapped around Trian and opened its mouth above Trian's head.

Xia Linyin threw out her crescent blade, which spun through the air and flew towards the tentacle, piercing it through.

The tentacle twisted its body in pain, flinging Trian away.

John scooped up Trian and rushed to the jet ski. He straddled the jet ski, inserted the key, and started the jet ski in one smooth motion.

"John, and Xia!" Sitting behind John, Trian looked at Xia Linyin, who was fighting with the tentacles, and called out anxiously.

"There's no other way, there are only two spots!" John revved the engine, and the speedboat shot off like an arrow.

"Sea monster, would you like to make a bet with me?" Xia Linyin asked, holding the dice cup.

The sea monster guessed wrong, but its head wasn't completely blown off; it only blew a hole in the top of its head. Its head was so big that this injury would cause it excruciating pain but wouldn't be fatal.

"Sea monster, would you like to make a bet with me?" Xia Linyin asked as she backed away.

This time, the sea monster guessed correctly. The moment the dice exploded, Xia Linyin put away the dice cup, turned around, and ran forward.

Her high heels shone with a blood-red light, and a crescent-shaped blade appeared in her hand. Xia Linyin caught up with John and Trian, floating behind them like a female ghost.

Behind Xia Linyin were several roaring tentacles!

The motorboat sped across the water, its engine roaring, leaving white waves that splashed several meters high!

Hearing the roar from behind, John sped up again!

But the tentacles continued to close in! Suddenly, a tentacle burst out of the water and shot towards Xia Linyin!
