Chapter 12 Bus Route 12

Xia Linyin stared intently at the ceramic doll's movements. As the ceramic doll flew towards her, she raised her high heel and swung it fiercely at the doll.

The hard heel of the high heel collided with the ceramic doll, and the ceramic doll, which was already covered in cracks, shattered into pieces under such force.

Broken porcelain shards were scattered all over the ground.

Xia Linyin was breathing heavily. She saw something invisible and cold float out from the broken pieces of ceramic. The cold aura quickly drifted toward the bamboo basket that the old woman had placed on the seat.

Then, another ceramic doll floated out of the bamboo basket. The ceramic doll grinned with a ferocious, scarlet mouth and shrieked as it floated toward Xia Linyin and the others.

Su Jinyan pointed the baton at the ceramic doll, and blood shot out!

The porcelain doll dodged the bloody light in a flash.

Having lost two bodies in succession, the porcelain doll was noticeably more cautious this time, and it darted under the seat.

Xia Linyin felt a chill on her feet; a cold, eerie aura was rapidly approaching her!

She quickly jumped onto the chair, and just as her feet left the ground, the ceramic doll, spinning sharp porcelain shards, floated past where she had just stood. If Xia Linyin had been even a second later, her feet would have been cut off by the ceramic doll.

Xia Linyin jumped onto the chair without pausing, and ran forward to the spacious center of the carriage.

The lights flickered on and off, and the carriage was quiet except for the sound of people breathing.

Xia Linyin's gaze darted around, constantly searching her surroundings, her hands gripping her high heels tightly, not daring to loosen their grip for a moment.

Suddenly, in the instant the lights dimmed, the porcelain doll emerged from under the seat, leaped up, and pounced on Snow White.

"Ah!" Bai Xue'er closed her eyes tightly.

With a "crack," Su Jinyan's baton struck the ceramic doll, and before the doll could float away, the blood-red light struck it again.

The ceramic doll's body shattered on the ground.

Feeling a sharp pain in her neck, Bai Xue'er reached up and touched it, only to find her hand covered in blood. She screamed in terror, "Jinyan! Look at me! I've been cut! I've been cut! What should I do? Am I going to die?!"

"If she can shout that loudly, she must be alright." Su Jinyan glanced at the wound on Bai Xue'er's neck, a shallow bloodstain that had only broken the skin a little, and frowned, saying, "Shut up, you won't die."

After the ceramic doll shattered, a chilling aura wafted out and drifted towards the bamboo basket!

The instant the ceramic doll was shattered by Su Jinyan, Xia Linyin turned and ran quickly toward the bamboo basket. Hurry! Hurry! She yanked off the black cloth covering the bamboo basket, revealing that there was still one ceramic doll inside.

A chilling aura rapidly approached from behind her. Just as Xia Linyin grabbed the ceramic doll and was about to smash it to the ground, she felt a sharp pain in her hand holding the doll.

The ghost has possessed the porcelain doll!

As if electrocuted, Xia Linyin released the ceramic doll and stepped back, her palm cut with a deep wound from which bright red blood flowed.

If she had released the ceramic doll any later, its hand would have been severed.

However, the situation is not optimistic. She is too close to the ceramic doll. After the ceramic doll was released, it grinned and floated towards her. She had no time to escape!

Xia Linyin's black pupils reflected the porcelain doll's ferocious smile, as the Grim Reaper's scythe was already slashing down on her!

It is said that when people face death, many past events flash through their minds, but at this moment, her mind was blank; she only knew that she was going to die!

The moment the sharp ceramic shard touched her skin, Xia Linyin felt as if the cold, dampness emanating from it froze her entire body.

However, before the porcelain doll shards could pierce Xia Linyin's skin, a dagger that shot out like lightning stabbed into its body, pinning the porcelain doll directly to the back of the chair.

The porcelain doll let out a shrill scream as it yanked its body away from the dagger.

The ceramic doll with a large hole in its chest floated toward the long-haired girl's corpse, slit open her stomach, and crawled inside.

The corpse, which had been lying motionless on the ground, began to twitch after the ceramic doll crawled inside. Accompanied by a chilling sound of bones breaking, the girl's hands and feet folded up at an eerie angle.

The girl, on all fours with her head turned 180 degrees to the back, nimbly climbed onto the roof of the carriage like a spider.

Long hair hung down from the top of the carriage.

Behind the thick, long hair, there seemed to be a pair of eyes staring at Xia Linyin and the others with a sinister gaze.

All of this happened in the blink of an eye. After Xia Linyin came to her senses, she took a few deep breaths. It was the dagger that the man in the black jacket had shot out; he had saved her life again.

Xia Linyin glanced at him gratefully, then casually pulled a black handkerchief to wrap around her bleeding hand, her eyes fixed on the long-haired girl on the roof of the carriage who had become a ghost.

The female ghost's hair, hanging upside down, began to dance as if it were alive. Half of the ever-growing hair flew towards Xia Linyin, while the other half flew towards Su Jinyan and the others.

As for the man in the black jacket, the female ghost seemed to be intimidated by his previous actions and selectively ignored him.

Xia Linyin gripped her high heel and swung it at the flying hair. With a "whoosh," the thick strands of hair wrapped around her wrist, and the rest of her hair enveloped her completely.

It coiled around her body like a snake, tighter and tighter.

As the air in her chest was gradually squeezed out, Xia Linyin felt it becoming increasingly difficult to breathe, and her entire face turned pale.

Having barely escaped death, is she really going to step back in?

No!

She didn't want to die!

Think of a way! Think of a way quickly!

lighter!

Yes! She even has a lighter!

Xia Linyin struggled desperately, her gaze falling on the lighter stuffed in front of her chest. She moved her fingers with difficulty, slowly reaching for the lighter.

With a "snap," the lighter was pressed, and a blazing flame shot out. The hair around the flame retreated as if it had encountered something extremely dangerous.

It worked! Xia Linyin's eyes lit up as she moved the flames to burn the hair wrapped around her body.

Once the hair was burned, it was like dry grass that could be ignited at the slightest touch, and the fire spread rapidly.

The female ghost let out an angry scream and flung Xia Linyin away violently.

Her body slammed against the car window and crashed heavily to the ground. Xia Linyin felt as if her internal organs were about to shift, and the lighter flew out of her hand.
