Chapter 133 Dangerous Apocalypse 7

The two-headed wolfhound pounced on the round barn, its claws scratching the surface with a series of piercing sounds.

Xia Linyin quickly wiped the ash off her face.

The cannibal walked over, wiped the moss off the round granary, and looked inside.

Upon seeing Xia Linyin inside, the cannibal chuckled and whistled.

Xia Linyin was pulled into the car and crouched in the narrow back seat. She lowered her eyes to hide the cold glint in them.

She would go with the cannibals to their lair not only because a direct confrontation would be unwise, but also because Number 83 told her they might have drugs there.

The oddly shaped vehicle sped along, and upon reaching its destination, the cannibals dragged all the people they had found that day out of the vehicle.

A black building came into Xia Linyin's view. They were in a wide open space, with a high wall behind them, covered with sharp metal plates.

As the cannibals shoved her toward the building, Xia Linyin discreetly surveyed her surroundings.

There were three tall towers on the open ground, with cannons mounted on them. Judging from their large caliber, they were quite powerful.

Wooden sticks stood upright, their tips protruding from human heads, whose facial features were twisted into a grotesque grimace, as if they had suffered immense pain before death.

The scalp of the human head had been completely peeled off, exposing the skull and even the brain. Countless fat, white maggots were wriggling on it, so densely packed that it gave one goosebumps.

"Maggots are rich in protein. Cannibals use human heads to raise maggots, making the most of every part of the human body," explained No. 83 dutifully.

Xia Linyin frowned and muttered, "That's disgusting!"

She felt that her heart had been strengthened beyond measure by this game. If she had seen this scene before entering the game, she would have definitely thrown up her dinner from the night before and wouldn't have been able to eat for several days.

The cannibals brought back eight people from outside this time. When they arrived at the entrance of the building, they divided the people into two groups.

The elderly, the infirm, the disabled, and those who were unsteady on their feet were all picked out and taken to the other side. Xia Linyin and two other men were grouped together and led into the building by the cannibals.

Upon entering the building, Xia Linyin discovered that it was a prison. Most of the cells were empty, with only a few people locked up in a few cells on the first floor.

Xia Linyin was roughly pushed into a cell by the cannibal. She steadied herself and looked at the other three people in the cell.

A man as thin as a monkey, a tall man, and an old man with gray hair.

They all looked at her with ill intent.

The walls and floor were covered with bloodstains that were not completely dry. They felt sticky underfoot, and when you lifted your foot, dark red, sticky blood streaks were pulled out from the sole of your shoe.

Xia Linyin sat down in the corner, leaning against the wall in a posture that appeared relaxed but was actually guarded.

As evening approached, the cannibal carried a bucket to the cell door, took something out of the bucket, and threw it into the cell.

The thing rolled around a few times before coming to a stop in the center of the cell.

Xia Linyin looked at the thing and immediately frowned. It was actually a human foot!

The sole of the foot must have been boiled in hot water; it was swollen and white, and the cut had lost all color.

Xia Linyin felt a dull ache in her feet, while the other three stared intently at her soles.

Half a minute later, the old man, who had been lying on his side without moving much, suddenly got up and lunged at the foot!

The moment the old man got his foot, the tall man hooked his arm around the old man's neck from behind.

With his neck tightly gripped by an arm and his feet almost off the ground, the old man struggled, clutching at the tall man's arm.

Another thin man took the opportunity to pick up the foot that had fallen to the ground, opened his mouth wide, and took a bite.

The tall man glared at the thin man with eyes blazing with fury. He threw the old man to the ground, rushed over, kicked the thin man, and snatched the foot from the thin man's hand.

Staring at the large gash on the instep, the tall man glared at the thin man with murderous intent.

The thin man quickly gulped down the piece of meat in his mouth.

As the tall man cursed and raised his leg to kick the thin man, a hard, sharp piece of bone pierced his carotid artery.

As the bone fragment was removed, blood gushed from the tall man's neck like a high-pressure water gun.

After swaying a few times, the tall man fell straight to the ground, his eyes wide open.

The old man lunged at the tall man's corpse and began to drink the gushing blood.

The thin man crept stealthily toward the soles of the feet and reached out his hand. Suddenly, the old man looked up at him.

Looking at the old man's blood-stained face, the thin man slowly withdrew his hand and retreated to a corner.

The old man picked up the foot from the ground and sat down to eat it. Xia Linyin looked away.

Seeing the bones the old man spat out on the ground, the thin man swallowed hard, carefully reached over, smiled ingratiatingly at the old man, picked up the bones, and stuffed them into his mouth.

Seeing that the old man did not object, the thin man picked up all the bones on the ground and stuffed them into his mouth as he picked them up.

The old man sneered, and after gnawing on the sole of the foot, he left behind the largest bone in the sole.

The bones scraped against the ground with a harsh sound. As the old man polished the bones, he gave Xia Linyin and the thin man a cold, sinister glance.

The thin man didn't dare to meet the old man's gaze. He looked at Xia Linyin, and when their eyes met, Xia Linyin saw the desire in his eyes that wanted to devour her.

Those were the eyes of a hungry wolf.

With a clang, the cell door opened, and the cannibal glanced at the scene inside before grabbing the tall man by the foot and dragging him out.

“You won’t get any sunlight here, you need to find another place,” said number 83.

Smelling the nauseating stench of blood in the air, Xia Linyin closed her eyes and whispered, "I can't stay here a second longer."

"This prison is heavily guarded. If you try to get out, you will definitely alert the cannibals. In a fight, you have a 40% chance of dying and an 87% chance of being injured. Once I am fully charged, I can activate a protective barrier to protect you from harm."

"Li Luo is still in the hovercar."

"There is spider leg meat and water in the car, enough to keep Li Luo going until his master returns."

Xia Linyin stopped talking. The night passed, and when the cannibal came over again, she wiped her face clean and smiled at him.

The cannibal paused for a moment, then reached into the cell, grabbed Xia Linyin's chin, and lifted her face.

Although Xia Linyin is now pale and thin, it is clear that her features are extremely beautiful, especially her eyes, which are crystal clear with pupils as black as ink and as deep as the night sky, like mesmerizing black pearls.
