Xia Linyin and Su Yu stared at each other. She looked at the baby face so close to hers, her mind filled with countless questions.
She wanted to ask something, but didn't know where to begin.
Or perhaps it was the fear in her heart that made her hesitate in the face of the truth.
The truth seemed to be right in front of her, all she had to do was reach out and lift the veil, but she began to feel afraid.
Because everything happening before her eyes told her that the truth might overturn all her previous understanding, refresh her worldview, and cause a huge and violent impact on everything she had thought in the past.
"It seems you've started to doubt your life."
Su Yu straightened up and pointed around, "Doesn't all of this seem high-tech? But this isn't the future world; you belong to this era."
Su Yu smiled, waved to Ada, and turned to walk out. As he walked, he said, "It's 2648 now. More than 600 years ago, director Guillermo del Toro made a movie called Pacific Rim. The movie tells the story of a wormhole that appeared deep in the ocean in the Pacific Rim region. Subsequently, a huge monster came to Earth through the wormhole and destroyed human cities."
Su Yu paused for a moment before continuing, "The director who made this movie probably never imagined that all of this would actually happen 600 years later. Just five years ago, a wormhole appeared on the seabed of the Pacific Ocean without warning, and a large number of insect beasts poured out from the seabed."
"They were enormous, strong, ferocious, and numerous. The Tyrannosaurus Rex of the Cretaceous period was nothing compared to them, and a human standing in front of them would be about the size of a miniature robot."
"But we had technology and weapons, and after paying a series of costs, we repelled these insectoid beasts. However, an unexpected event occurred before we could even celebrate our victory."

Su Yu pressed a button on his wristwatch, and an enlarged projection image appeared above the watch.
The beautiful blue planet is being gradually invaded by red, and that red represents the areas occupied by insectoid beasts.
Su Yu clicked on a certain area and zoomed in again. A three-dimensional model with a tubular shape in the middle and trumpet-shaped shapes on both sides appeared in the projection.
"This is a wormhole located on the seabed of the Pacific Ocean. If we don't eliminate the wormhole, insect beasts will keep coming out of it, and killing more insect beasts won't help."

Only Xia Linyin stared at Su Yu with a blank expression.
Su Yu took a deep breath to calm his excited tone, "We have been dissecting and studying these insect beasts, and finally developed a biological warfare agent specifically for dealing with them. This biological warfare agent is a type of microorganism that is harmless to humans but can rapidly multiply inside the insect beasts, causing them to die."
"If we simply drop a biological bomb made from these microorganisms into a wormhole and detonate it, the microorganisms will spread—"
Su Yu extended his fist and placed it above the wormhole, then released it, simulating a bomb being dropped and exploding in the scene.
The green color representing microorganisms spreads across the ocean, and then swarms of insects and beasts fall.
"Both the insectoid beasts on this side and that side of the wormhole must die!"
"At that time, we will send out robots to clean up the corpses of the insectoid beasts, throw them all back into the wormhole and send them back to their lair, and attach micro-robots to some of the corpses to transmit the scene from the other side back to us."
