Ada opened the metal door and stood in the doorway, frowning as she looked at Xia Linyin sitting on the ground.
As if all her vitality had been drained away, Xia Linyin looked so... lifeless at this moment.
This reminded Ada of The Walking Dead.
She knew that the participants would find it difficult to accept all of this when they first woke up, lacking a sense of identity and belonging to this world, until they fully recovered their memories and were able to fully integrate into this world.

Ada tapped the wall with her finger, then brushed her blonde hair behind her ear and strode toward Xia Linyin with her shapely, fair legs.

Ada frowned again, then clapped her hands. "Number 260, table and chair."
A clean, gleaming silver metal table and chairs emerged from the wall, and Ida sat down at the table.
"The room is voice-activated; its name is your number. Just call it if you need anything."
Seeing that Xia Linyin had no reaction, Aida paused for a moment and then continued, "You will stay here for the time being until you are injected with the X virus."
She patted the box she had brought, "There are several different flavors of nutritional supplements inside. I believe you know how to open them. There are also some documents that will help you recover your memory faster."
Seeing that Xia Linyin remained unresponsive like a puppet, Ada got up from her chair with a sense of helplessness.
Bending down, Ada tucked the box into Xia Linyin's arms and pinched her cheek. Hmm... it felt nice.
"If you have any questions, you can come to my office. I'm always here to help you."
Ada seemed to want to say something more, but in the end she only moved her lips, silently patted Xia Linyin's shoulder, and got up and left.
Xia Linyin sat motionless for a long time before finally raising her hand to open the box.
There was a video recorder inside the box, and Xia Linyin took it out and turned it on.
A recorded video was projected into the air, showing her wearing numbered clothes and sitting in a chair facing the camera.
She seemed a little nervous, her hands resting on her lap rubbing together unconsciously, and her lips pursed slightly.

"I am honored to be selected as one of the participants, and I believe that I can definitely become a mecha warrior for my loving parents!"
Looking at her own determined gaze in the image, Xia Linyin wanted to laugh, but couldn't.
Warm liquid flowed down her face. She raised her hand in a daze and touched her hand, only to find that her face was covered in tears without her noticing.
Xia Linyin didn't pull herself out of bed. She curled up on the cold floor, clutching the video recorder tightly in her hand.

The video played on a loop, and as the recording played over and over again, Xia Linyin slowly closed her eyes.

Screams, cries, and calls for help filled the air, accompanied by various noises and deafening booms.
"Thump! Thump! Thump!"
The earth trembled beneath the feet of the insects and beasts.
The enormous insectoid beasts rampaged through the city, swinging their thick tails towards the overhead tracks.
The tracks broke, and the wreckage of various vehicles fell from the sky and crashed to the ground.
It left deep pits on the ground.
The insects roared excitedly, their deafening cries crushing towering buildings into pieces like paper beneath their feet.
With her wrist gripped tightly, Xia Linyin looked at the man and woman beside her who were protecting her as they ran, and blurted out, "Dad, Mom!"
"Xiaoyin, don't be afraid! Stay close to Daddy!"
The man ran forward desperately with Xia Linyin in his arms, stretching out his strong arms to tightly embrace his daughter and wife.
"Thump!"
A huge boulder fell in front of the three people, knocking down a group of people running ahead of them, and glaring blood flowed from under the boulder.
The man's face turned deathly pale. He and his family of three had almost been crushed to death.
