Chapter 209 Misty Town 17

Arthur didn't move. He stared at Xia Linyin with his sleepy eyes, not blinking, and it was unclear what he was looking at.

“Arthur Li?” Chad frowned. Just as he reached out to grab the back of the chair behind Xia Linyin, Arthur Li suddenly grabbed his wrist with such force that he almost broke his old bones.

"Arthur!" Chad raised his voice, his displeasure palpable. "What are you doing?"

Arthur released Chad's wrist, but as Chad reached for the back of the chair again, Arthur grabbed his wrist again and gave him a look.

Oh! What a strange sight! He actually saw a warning in Arthur's eyes. It must be an illusion, what he just saw must have been an illusion!

Despite thinking this, Chad didn't dare to provoke Arthur any further. Who knows why he was afraid of Arthur? No, Chad would never admit that he had developed a fear of Arthur!

Arthur has always listened to him since childhood and has never dared to disobey him. He must find out why!

Chad glanced at Xia Linyin, then thoughtfully looked at Arthur, who was staring at her, before giving a knowing smile. "Oh! Arthur, you've fallen for her, haven't you?"

“My child, as your father, I know you so well. Your eyes tell me that you have fallen for her.”

"Look, you've been staring at her the whole time!"

"She is so beautiful, her skin is so smooth, she must taste amazing! Oh! She looks so young and vibrant!"

Chad exclaimed in admiration, unable to resist touching Xia Linyin's face, which was full of collagen.

"Don't touch!" Arthur grabbed Chad's wrist again, this time with more force than before. Or rather, he hadn't used much force before, but he was naturally very strong. This time, he was really putting in the effort because he didn't want Chad to touch Xia Linyin.

Chad's face twitched in pain, but what concerned him more than his wrist was—

"Oh! Arthur! You spoke!"

With a gasp, Chad stared incredulously at Arthur. His son hadn't spoken in a long time, so long that Chad thought Arthur had been so terrified by the sight of him killing his wife that he would never speak again.

"Don't touch it!" Arthur emphasized again.

"Fine, fine! Arthur, I won't touch her, she's yours!"

Hearing Chad say that, Arthur slowly loosened his grip on Chad's wrist.

Rubbing his wrist, a glint of light flashed in Chad's eyes. He looked at Arthur and smiled kindly, like the witch in a fairy tale tempting Snow White to eat the red apple.

"Cut your beloved woman into small pieces and eat her like a cream pudding, bite by bite."

Chad revealed a blissful expression, as if he had just taken an opium, and spoke with the fervor of an orator: "My dear Arthur, think about it, what a wonderful thing this is! Every part of her body is fused into your blood and bones, you are so intimate and inseparable! Oh! Her soul will be with you!"

"Ugh ugh ugh—" Xia Linyin shook her head frantically at Arthur, telling him not to believe his nonsense, that the soul would stay with you once you ate it—that was utterly ridiculous!!

There is only one outcome of eating a person: that person will be digested into a pile of foul-smelling filth!

Chad continued to tempt her: "Arthur, eat her! You'll love her taste! You'll love the taste of human flesh!"

Arthur blinked, seemingly processing the meaning of Chad's words, before dragging Charlene, chair and all, out of the room.

"Ugh! Ugh! Ugh!"

After struggling in vain for a few moments, Xia Linyin couldn't help but sob.

Watching Charlene being dragged out of the basement step by step by Arthur, Chad revealed a victor's smile.

"Ugh! Ugh! Ugh!"

"You will go to hell! You will definitely go to hell!"

Looking at the malicious smile on Chad's face, Xia Linyin cursed viciously, her eyes filled with such malice that she wished she could tear a piece of flesh off Chad.

The iron gate slammed shut with a loud bang, and Bai Xiaolin could no longer hold back his sobs. Another companion had left, and he knew that Xia Linyin had no chance of survival once she left.

The memory of the two of them searching for clues and opening the coffin together is still vivid, but in the blink of an eye, they will soon be separated by life and death.

The blood and filth covering the walls and floor stung Xia Linyin's eyes, and the stench of blood, even stronger than in the basement, made her hungry stomach convulse.

She was panting heavily, seeing herself being taken to a place that was clearly a slaughterhouse, and every pore on her body felt like it was going to explode!

Chad picked up a pair of thin latex gloves from the table beside him and put them on. His hand slid over a row of scalpels and finally stopped on one of them. Chad picked up the scalpel and walked toward the operating table.

With a "snap," the incandescent light above the operating table was switched on, and Chad patted the lampshade in a good mood.

The incandescent bulb swayed gently, and the light and shadows drifted around like ghosts. Chad stood beside the operating table, like a stage protagonist about to make his grand entrance. The scalpel in his hand reflected a sharp, cold light, just like the chilling smile on his face.

"Arthur, get her to the operating table quickly."

Crouching behind Xia Linyin, Arthur untied the ropes wrapped around Xia Linyin's calves and the chair legs, and then untied the ropes wrapped around the top and the back of the chair. He then picked up Xia Linyin and carried her toward the operating table.

Although her legs and wrists were still bound with nylon ropes, her movements were no longer as restricted as before. Xia Linyin was like a snake whose vital spot was being held, struggling and twisting her body desperately. Unfortunately, her strength was completely disproportionate to Arthur Li. Her struggles were like tickling Arthur Li, and were of no use at all.

Xia Linyin was placed on the operating table, and before she could roll off, she was secured to the table with several straps with a few clicks.

With her hands still tied behind her back and straps pressing down on her shoulders, waist, legs, and ankles, Xia Linyin lay on the operating table with a look of utter despair.

She had a "mmp" in her mouth but didn't know whether she should say it.

Chad excitedly gestured a few times towards Xia Linyin's face. When he looked up, he saw Arthur staring at him silently. He quickly handed over the scalpel, saying, "Alright, alright, Arthur, you can do it yourself."

Arthur took the scalpel, lifted Xia Linyin's clothes, revealing her flat abdomen, which rose and fell slightly with Xia Linyin's breathing.
