Chapter 217 Misty Town 25

However, Xia Linyin hadn't forgotten her previous escape, nor the terrifying, bloodthirsty look in Arthur's eyes when he caught her; all of this reminded her not to act rashly.

Although Arthur hasn't said anything yet, Xia Linyin knows that the verdict on this matter hasn't been issued. Until Arthur truly forgives her past transgressions, it's best for her to behave herself and not anger Arthur again.

She couldn't understand how things could have been exposed so quickly. The doll looked so much like her that even she couldn't tell the difference. She knew that Arthur might be able to see through the doll, but she didn't expect it to happen so fast.

In any case, it's clear she's missed a good chance to escape.

With a thunderous "bang," Arthur punched the sandbag in front of him, shattering it. The veins on his arm bulged, and his hair was dripping with sweat, as if he had just emerged from the water.

Xia Linyin trembled as she saw the sandbag that had been smashed to pieces by Arthur Li's punch, leaving only a mangled corpse. She couldn't help but breathe cautiously.

She couldn't imagine what would happen if such a powerful punch landed on her. Was Arthur warning her that if she ran away again, she would end up like this punching bag?

Xia Linyin thought so; this must be a warning from Arthur to her!

When Arthur tilted his head slightly, preparing to look over, Xia Linyin's entire body tensed up. Ever since she saw Arthur's eyes turn bloodshot, she had been afraid to meet his gaze, fearing that she would see that hellish scene in his eyes again.

Look here! Arthur is looking here!

When Xia Linyin met Arthur's gaze, her heart skipped a beat, as if she were being held captive.

However, this didn't seem to be a warning look. Xia Linyin didn't see any warning in Arthur's eyes; on the contrary...

Wait, how can Arthur's eyes be so beautiful? So beautiful that it's like your soul is being sucked in, and you're about to drown in his gaze.

I used to think Arthur's eyes were beautiful, but they seemed to exist only in a painting, lacking vitality. Now, those eyes have come alive, shimmering and captivating.

Arthur's gaze, like a small hook, shot straight at Xia Linyin, full of alluring charm.

Before Xia Linyin could react to Arthur Li's flirtatious advances, she saw Arthur Li raise one corner of his mouth, his smile a mixture of wickedness and mischief.

With a deafening roar, like a thunderbolt from the sky, Xia Linyin was struck dumb, frozen in place.

She couldn't be mistaken, could she? Arthur smiled? He actually smiled!

Arthur, whose face had been expressionless the whole time, smiled, and his smile was...wickedly charming and arrogant?

She must be hallucinating; Arthur's wicked smile and all that must be her imagination!

Despite thinking this, Xia Linyin's heart was still pounding from the electric shock of that smile, and she clutched her chest.

With his long, slender legs, Arthur walked towards Xia Linyin. Xia Linyin involuntarily backed away step by step. When Arthur got close to her, Xia Linyin subconsciously turned around and ran away.

Arthur grabbed her by the shoulder and slammed her against the wall, then pounced on her.

With his hands on either side of Xia Linyin's head, Arthur asked, "Why are you running? Am I that scary?"

Xia Linyin pressed herself tightly against the wall behind her, the scent of Arthur rushing into her nostrils, she could even feel it penetrating her skin, so intensely enveloping her and leaving its mark.

It was a scent that made one blush, carrying a strong masculine hormone and Arthur's unique cool fragrance, incredibly sexy.

"Hmm?" Arthur freed one hand to grab Xia Linyin's chin, forcing her to raise her head. His blue eyes focused intently into hers, and his low, nasal voice was extremely alluring.

Xia Linyin quickly shook her head, but in her heart she desperately hoped that Arthur would return to his original appearance as soon as possible. She really couldn't handle Arthur like this.

After Arthur stroked Xia Linyin's smooth chin, he slightly raised the corners of his mouth, took Xia Linyin's hand, and placed it on his chest.

The skin beneath her palms, glistening with sweat, was burning hot, the intense heat searing into Xia Linyin's heart. She wanted to pull her hand back immediately, but Arthur held it firmly in place.

"Plop, plop, plop—"

Feeling Arthur's strong heartbeat, Xia Linyin couldn't help but wonder if Arthur wanted her to feel his heartbeat.

"Arthur... Arthur?"

"Shh—" Arthur raised his long index finger and pressed it against Xia Linyin's lips. He slowly moved Xia Linyin's hand, which was pressed against his chest, down to finally rest on his firm and powerful abdominal muscles.

Holding Xia Linyin's hand, he gently stroked the well-defined muscles of his abdomen, a dark glint of ambiguity flashing in Arthur's eyes.

Arthur's skin was so smooth, it felt like touching a large, silky piece of chocolate; the texture was simply wonderful.

Xia Linyin had to admit that she was quite fond of it.

"Does it feel good?"

Upon hearing Arthur's question, Xia Linyin nodded and blurted out, "It feels nice."

As soon as the words left her mouth, Xia Linyin froze. After realizing what she had said, her face burned red, and she wished she could find a crack in the ground to crawl into.

Seeing the blush on Xia Linyin's face, Arthur chuckled softly, a hint of pleasure in his voice. He then took Xia Linyin's hand and moved it downwards...

"!!!" Xia Linyin's eyes widened, and then it was Arthur's turn—

How can you touch that place!

Every cell in her body radiated resistance as Xia Linyin desperately tried to pull her hand back, her resistance resembling that of a pig screaming in agony before being slaughtered.

Arthur found Xia Linyin's terrified little expression incredibly cute, and couldn't help but shake his head and chuckle. Instead of forcing Xia Linyin any further, he took her hand and kissed it.

Lowering his head, Arthur whispered in Xia Linyin's ear, his breath brushing against her fair earlobe, "What do you think..."

A deep, magnetic voice, capable of making one's ears pregnant, flowed out slowly like the elegant sound of a cello: "Am I a man or a boy?"

Although she didn't know why Arthur asked that, the answer was obvious. Ignoring the tickling sensation in her ear, Xia Linyin replied, "Man...man."

“A satisfactory answer.” Arthur lightly pecked at Xia Linyin’s delicate, fair earlobe, causing her to tremble slightly. He straightened up, said a few words, and headed upstairs, “I’m going to take a shower.”

After Arthur went upstairs, Xia Linyin touched her ear, but she couldn't shake off the lingering sensation from Arthur's light peck, a strange and tingling feeling.
