Mr. Mo glanced at the photo and said, "She looks like a celestial being."
"You have high standards, huh!" Mr. Mo sneered again. "Look at yourself! You're just like a filthy little rat in a ditch, liking such a pretty girl. Do you even deserve her?"
"Let me tell you, the prettier the girl, the more toxic she is! Just like your bitch mother! She ran off with someone else! She ran off with someone else!"
Father Mo roared, "They ran away! Ah—"
A scream rang out, and Mo Li suddenly pounced on Mo's father like a wild beast, jumping onto him and biting his face.
He bit down on Mo's father's cheek as if he hadn't eaten meat in centuries, refusing to let go despite Mo's father's fists pounding on him again and again, his eyes filled with the ferocity of a wild wolf.
Until he bit off a piece of flesh from Mo's father's face, he heard Mo's father's heart-wrenching screams, and crimson blood splattered all over Mo Li's face.
He spat out the bloody, mangled flesh from his mouth, picked up Xia Linyin's photo from the ground, then ran to the room, pulled the latch, and slammed the door open.
The scene was one of utter chaos.
The box fell over, and the things he had collected and treasured bit by bit were scattered all over the ground like trash!
A surge of blood rushed to Mo Li's head.
Blood streamed down one side of his face. Mo's father's eyes blazed with fury; he was so angry he felt like his lungs were about to explode. "You little beast! How dare you bite me!"
Mo Li suddenly turned around. His face was covered in bloodstains, his lips were surrounded by blood, and several streams of blood slid down his pointed chin to his neck.
His bloodshot eyes held a fierce rage that came from having his sore spot touched.
