Chapter 69 Ghost Castle 6

Just as everyone was guessing that Xia Linyin would point to Qin Manwen or Yang Shuming, to everyone's surprise, she pointed her finger at Zhao Dahai.

Zhao Dahai looked at Xia Linyin in surprise and asked incredulously, "You're pointing at me?"

"Ha!" He chuckled. "Xia Linyin, you're pointing fingers at me? I've believed from the beginning that you're not a werewolf, and I especially trust your analysis."

"You say Tian Chunli is a werewolf, so I'll just follow your lead and say Tian Chunli is a werewolf. But if I were a werewolf, why would I point the finger at Tian Chunli? Besides, Qin Manwen and Yang Shuming both suspected that we were werewolves. This is definitely a deliberate attempt to frame us. So there's only one werewolf right now, and it's either Qin Manwen or Yang Shuming. How could it be me? You shouldn't be suspecting me, no matter who you suspect!"

"But now you're pointing at me, Xia Linyin. I'm starting to doubt you. Could you really be a werewolf?"

"You're the werewolf, that's why you pointed at me, so I get two votes to be eliminated, and then you win."

Zhao Dahai turned his finger from Yang Shuming to Xia Linyin, "I'm changing my vote to Xia Linyin."

“Zhao Dahai, you’re right. I shouldn’t have voted for you. If it weren’t for the fact that Tian Chunli looked at you with surprise when you voted for her, I would never have suspected you.”

Xia Linyin looked at Zhao Dahai with some admiration. It's true that you can't judge a book by its cover. Zhao Dahai always had the air of a nouveau riche, as if he wanted to have the words "I'm rich" etched on his face.

If you didn't play this game, you would never have guessed that Zhao Dahai was so shrewd. I wonder if Zhao Dahai is also a player.

“Alright! Now Zhao Dahai and Xia Linyin are tied. Yang Shuming and Qin Manwen, you two need to reach a consensus and choose who is the werewolf,” Liu Wei said.

"Yang Shuming, Xia Linyin is a werewolf, stop pointing fingers at Zhao Dahai." Qin Manwen frowned and looked at Yang Shuming.

"I'm still betting that Zhao Dahai is a werewolf, and I won't change my mind!" Yang Shuming said firmly, pointing at Zhao Dahai like a stubborn ox.

Qin Manwen had no choice but to reluctantly change the direction of her finger. "Fine, then I'll change my vote to Zhao Dahai. But I still believe Xia Linyin is the werewolf. I'm just voting to get a result in order to cooperate with Yang Shuming."

Liu Wei snapped his fingers. "Alright, Zhao Dahai is out. Everyone, turn your cards over."

Qin Manwen flipped over her card, "I'm the witch, and I knew Xia Linyin was the werewolf! We lost—"

Xia Linyin flipped her card over; her identity was that of a villager.

Qin Manwen's unfinished words were all stuck in her throat; the slap in the face came too quickly, like a tornado.

She stared at Xia Linyin's card, her mouth slightly agape. After a moment, she gave an awkward laugh and shrugged. "Okay, we won."

Xia Linyin glanced at Li Luo's cards; Li Luo was indeed a prophet.

Tian Chunli, Xia Yao, and Zhao Dahai were the werewolves, and they have all been voted out. The villagers won.

"We could have won this game, it's all your fault. Why are you looking at me like that?" Zhao Dahai slapped his thigh regretfully, then looked at Tian Chunli with dissatisfaction. "I told you, with your IQ, you couldn't play this game."

"Seriously, I'm going to the bathroom!" Zhao Dahai pulled up his pants, got up from his seat, and walked towards the restroom.

"Why blame me? I didn't do it on purpose," Tian Chunli muttered angrily, glaring at Xia Linyin.

A few minutes later, Zhao Dahai still hadn't come out of the bathroom. Liu Wei couldn't help but tease him, "Why hasn't Zhao Dahai come out yet? Did he fall into the toilet hole while using it?"

"Dahai! Zhao Dahai!" Liu Wei shouted. "Dahai, if you're going to university, just let us know. We won't wait for you; we'll start first."

Having received no response, Liu Wei wondered, "What's Da Hai up to in the toilet? Did he wet his pants and is too embarrassed to speak?"

Xia Linyin had a bad feeling. Zhao Dahai hadn't come out of the toilet since he went there and hadn't made a sound. There was a high chance that something had happened to him.

I was so engrossed in playing the game that I almost forgot there was a murderous ghost lurking in this house.

"This guy is probably trying to scare us on purpose. Why don't we all hide and when Zhao Dahai comes out, he'll find the living room empty and be scared to death!" Liu Wei suggested excitedly.

Some people were eager to try this proposal, some were uninterested, and some frowned and considered it.

However, players certainly know that this is a suicidal act, and who knows how many will be left when they come out after hiding.

This completely gave the ghost the opportunity to strike alone.

Xia Linyin coughed twice at the right moment, her voice hoarse, "I don't want to move at all right now. Actually, I want to sleep. Let's check on Zhao Dahai. Maybe he really has something going on and isn't just trying to scare us by not making any noise."

"I'll go check it out! See what he's up to." Liu Wei walked towards the bathroom and pounded on the door. "Dahai! Zhao Dahai! If you don't say something, I'm coming in!"

Liu Wei turned the handle and found that the bathroom door was not locked. The door opened with a turn of the handle, and the bathroom was empty. There was no sign of Zhao Dahai!

"Zhao Dahai isn't in the bathroom!" Liu Wei exclaimed in surprise, and a gust of cold wind swept through the living room as he did so.

"Phew~"

It was as if someone blew on the candle; the flame flickered twice and then went out, plunging the entire living room into complete darkness.

"Aaaaaaah!!"

"Don't panic! Don't shout! Everyone, don't panic!"

"Where's the light switch? Where is it? Can someone turn the light on?"

"I pressed it! I already pressed it! But it didn't work! Why isn't the light on!"

...

Xia Linyin stood up from the sofa. Instead of running around, she took out her phone from her bag and turned on the flashlight.

The flashlight beam flickered in the darkness. Suddenly, a grotesque face with blood streaming from its eyes, mouth, and ears appeared on the screen, and Xia Linyin's phone fell to the ground with a thud.

The living room was plunged into darkness again, the darkness before my eyes like thick, unyielding ink.

A high heel appeared in Xia Linyin's hand. Her high heel could now change size. Squatting on the ground, Xia Linyin put her foot into the high heel.

Although it was pitch black, Xia Linyin had a gut feeling that something was in front of her, watching her from the darkness.

Xia Linyin was so cold her teeth were chattering, but the thing in front of her didn't move, and she didn't dare to move either. Was it a ghost? Could it be a ghost?

Even though she knew that wearing high heels gave her a certain degree of protection against spirits, the thing in front of her still gave her an indescribable sense of oppression.

Xia Linyin suddenly stood up, her right foot, clad in high heels, slammed forward, but her ankle was grabbed tightly. From the darkness came Li Luo's deep voice, "It's me."
