An Meimei swallowed hard as she looked at the bag full of small cake boxes.
Yin Yichen reached out and handed her two boxes, smiling like a flower, "Take good care of my Xiaoyin while I'm gone."
An Meimei stared blankly at Yin Yichen, nodded, and a suspicious liquid seemed to be dripping from the corner of her mouth. It was hard to tell whether she was craving the cake or was captivated by Yin Yichen's smile.

Yin Yichen took something out of his pocket and gave it to Xia Linyin.
"What is this?" Xia Linyin asked, reaching out to take it.
"Tickets to the masquerade ball," Yin Yichen said. "I'll dress up as the prince, and you'll dress up as the princess. We'll enter together. I have a feeling the demon will definitely appear."
Xia Linyin looked at the admission ticket in her hand, took a deep breath, suppressed the unease in her heart, and nodded, "Okay."
