"Xiao Li, do you still remember—uh uh uh uh uh!" Before she could finish speaking, Xia Linyin was jolted by the electric shock and her eyes rolled back uncontrollably.
Xia Linyin: "..."
The sadness is overwhelming!
The boy let out a melodious chuckle, a low laugh that tickled the heart like a cat's claws. He glanced sideways at Xia Linyin, a slight smile playing on his lips, and parted his alluring pink lips to utter three words, "Crazy."
Young man, do you know you're asking for a beating?
A faint, mocking smile appeared on that delicate, pretty face. It was both damn infuriatingly irritating and damnably charming, making one want to strip him naked and throw him on the bed and do *that* to him.
The alluring yet piercing smile, like a rose, was fleeting. The boy withdrew his gaze, picked up his book, and turned to leave.
They disappeared from Xia Linyin's sight in no time.
After chasing for a while with her deliberately twisted right leg, Xia Linyin stopped. In her current state, it was better not to chase at all than to chase her. Before long, she became more and more proficient at walking like a zombie.
As she became more and more adept at playing the zombie, Xia Linyin didn't know whether to laugh or cry.
An hour later, just as Xia Linyin, who was finally able to walk normally, was about to go find Xiao Li, a loud blare came from the rooftop of the hospital building: "Giveaway candy! Giveaway candy! Giveaway candy!"
The mental patients, who were originally strolling on the lawn, rushed towards the hospital building with great excitement, just like when they heard the call to have dinner.
Some patients who weren't moving and were still wandering around on the lawn would be roughly dragged back by the nurses who came out.
Xia Linyin jogged into the hospital building with the other patients, and then lined up with everyone under the nurses' scolding and instructions to receive the "candy" they were given.
Finally, it was Xia Linyin's turn. She reached her hand through the narrow window and saw through the glass that the nurse picked up one of the bottles in front of her, and the bottle was clearly labeled "delusional disorder".
The nurse poured two white pills from the bottle and placed them in Xia Linyin's palm. She waved her hand impatiently and said, "Next."
After receiving the so-called "candy," Xia Linyin put the pill in her mouth under the supervision of other nurses, but instead of swallowing it, she pressed it under her tongue.
When no one was paying attention, Xia Linyin took the pill out of her mouth, crushed it, and then sprinkled the powder little by little into the toilet bowl.
Putting the wire mesh back on, Xia Linyin wandered around the hospital corridor, looking for Xiao Li and familiarizing herself with the layout.
I didn't see Xiao Li when the medicine was being distributed. From the nurses' conversation, I heard that the medicine was being distributed in batches.
After searching for a while without finding Xiao Li, Xia Linyin guessed that her illness was about to start again. Just as she was about to find a ward to lock herself in, she ran into Xiao Li.
"You're looking for me, aren't you?" The boy's beautiful smile carried a hint of coldness, sending chills down one's spine for no apparent reason.
