Chapter 123 Raising Zombies 14

Xia Linyin's legs ached from the jerky, protruding rod beneath Xiao Li. As a zombie, his penis was indeed as hard as a rod, the kind that wouldn't bend even if you hung a bucket on it.

Xia Linyin couldn't push him away at all. If this continued, she didn't know how long it would take. Seeing that he was really in a lot of pain, she suppressed her shame and reached down with her hand.

Xiao Li instantly froze, as if she had been immobilized, staring wide-eyed and lying motionless on Xia Linyin's body.

...

Afterwards, Xiao Li rubbed against Xia Linyin's neck like a satiated cat, her eyes lingering with a sweet, honey-like gaze, and a hint of shyness in their depths.

Xia Linyin lay on the ground with a look of utter despair, her fingers too tired to move.

Her mind was too busy to think any further; she had only one thought in her mind: she felt her hands were about to give out.

"Give me a few napkins."

Xiao Li got up, took the tissue box from the table, and then hugged Xia Linyin.

When Xia Linyin took out a tissue to wipe her hands clean, she noticed that her palms were slowly turning black.

As if ink had been injected under her skin, the blackness gradually spread, and in no time, her entire right palm turned black.

Xia Linyin looked at her palm in surprise. She knew that Xiao Li's saliva contained corpse poison, but she did not expect that his... cough cough, was also poisonous, and the poison was so strong.

As if petrified, her right arm gradually stiffened. She quickly took out glutinous rice from the kitchen and applied it to her palm and arm. After the glutinous rice turned black, she replaced it with new glutinous rice.

This process was repeated several times until the glutinous rice stopped turning black, at which point the corpse poison that had seeped into her skin was completely removed.

Xiao Li watched Xia Linyin's actions with panic and helplessness, letting out a howl like a trapped beast from deep in her throat.

After seeing that her hand had returned to normal, he calmed down and lowered his head like a child who had done something wrong, his deep blue eyes filled with frustration and sorrow.

"I'm fine," Xia Linyin said, patting his head to comfort him.

Xiao Li whimpered and rubbed against Xia Linyin's palm.

It was like opening the door to a new world and seeing a novel and beautiful scene. Before you could even appreciate it properly, a basin of dirty water fell from the sky and dyed the entire new world black.

After that incident, Xia Linyin never again saw a pair of deep blue eyes at the head of her bed when she woke up in the middle of the night.

Seemingly cut off from some kind of thought, Xiao Li stopped sneaking off to the bathroom alone. His relationship with Xia Linyin returned to normal, and he liked to stick close to her. However, his gloomy aura seemed to have intensified.

——

Leaving the bustling market, Xia Linyin carried her shopping basket and headed home.

As she walked along the path, a figure blocked her way.

He wore a large hooded hood and a black robe like a monk, with a blood-red cross mark on his forehead.

Hunter D held a silver cross in his hand, raised his hand to lower his hood, and looked at Charlene, "Long time no see."

Xia Linyin remained silent, watching him warily, wondering why he had suddenly appeared there.

Hunter D's gaze fell on Xia Linyin's vegetable basket, and Xia Linyin turned to the side and hid the basket behind her.

"Didn't you say your zombies are vegetarians?"

It was clearly a question, but Hunter D spoke it without any intonation, his tone as flat as a glass of plain water.

However, he swiftly shot out a silver thread from his hand, hooking out the bag containing pig's blood and duck's blood from the vegetable basket.

"So, what is this?"

Hunter D took out the pig's blood, and the blood dripped down his well-defined fingers.

Xia Linyin laughed, "What? I like to eat pig's blood and duck's blood. Can't I buy some to make soup at home? Do you have to tell me what to do?"

"Your zombies grow very fast. If they only drank animal blood, they couldn't grow this fast."

"You mean our zombies drank human blood? Where's the evidence? Just guessing isn't enough. Produce the evidence, and we'll do whatever you want with them."

Their eyes met in mid-air; though no sparks flew, the tension was palpable.

"Zombies can't be vegetarians."

After accurately tossing the blood clot back into the basket and uttering those words, Hunter D darted away from the spot.

The pig's blood trembled, without breaking in the slightest. Xia Linyin stared at the slightly trembling pig's blood, narrowed her eyes, and then threw it into the trash can.

...

Perhaps because she had transformed from a carefree little zombie into a melancholy one, Xiao Li had a dream that night, something that was unusual for her.

In his dream, an old man with a white beard waved a delicate pastry in front of him and asked, "Want some?"

The blood-red pastries emitted an incredibly tempting aroma and looked absolutely delicious; he nodded.

The old man gave him the pastry, and he eagerly took it. Just as he was about to take a bite, the old man waved his finger at him and said, "No, no, no, you can't eat it. You can only look at it, not eat it."

The old man had a smug look on his face when he said this, which made people really want to punch him.

The exquisite pastries kept wafting their aromas, tempting him. Whenever he couldn't resist the urge to eat them, the old man would run out and stop him.

So, what did he do in his dream?

When the old man ran out to stop him again, he beat the old man up and then wolfed down the pastries.

When she woke up, Xiao Li opened her eyes in the darkness for a while before silently jumping into Xia Linyin's room.
