What is the Third Prince thinking?
Su Yan didn't care.
She was just thinking that she could finally get the person back to the Marquis's mansion.
Su Yan brought Ji Yu back to the manor.
They then moved him back to his previous courtyard.
Before I could even go see the courtyard with him, we were stopped by Su's father's men.
The steward of the Marquis's residence was accompanied by three servants.
He stood in front of Su Yan.
"Young Master, the Master requests your presence."
This was quite a sight; he even brought three strong and burly servants with him.
The objective is clear, whether it's soft or hard.
It means we need to bring Su Yan over.
Ji Yu spoke up
“Young Marquis, Ji Yu can go by himself.”
Su Yan glanced at the butler.
He then nodded.
"Lanzhi, you go with him, I'm going to see my father."
"Yes, young lord."
The butler gestured for them to enter.
"Young Marquis, this way please."
Su Yan nodded and walked forward.
From the front yard, past the hall, all the way to the door of Su's father's study.
I listened to the butler's report.
"Master, the young marquis has arrived."
"Let him in!"
A strong, resonant voice.
He was still filled with anger.
The butler gestured for them to proceed.
"Young Marquis, please."
Su Yan pushed open the door to the study and stepped inside.
With a bang.
A pitch-black inkstone came hurtling straight at Su Yan's head.
Su Yan turned her head to dodge.
With a loud bang.
The inkstone smashed against the wall behind him, then fell to the ground with a crisp cracking sound.
Su's father had a rugged appearance and was a general who fought on the battlefield in his early years.
Even now that he has entered the capital as an official, his fierceness has not diminished.
Su's father was furious
"You unfilial son! You've ruined the Su family's reputation!!"
Su Yan and her father looked at each other.
"What is it that Father is talking about?"
Her voice was devoid of emotion; it was merely a question.
Seeing her like this, Su's father was taken aback.
Mr. Su took a deep breath and calmed his anger.
"You spend your days doing nothing productive, walking your birds and playing with crickets, visiting brothels and gambling dens."
Now, rumors are even circulating that he has homosexual relationships. The whole capital is buzzing about it!
Su Yan looked at her father, clasped her hands in a fist salute, and first bowed.
"I've always been this way, Father, did you only find out on the first day?"
"you!!"
Su Yan was telling the truth.
But it almost made Su's father faint from anger!
Su's father kept pounding on the desk and shouting.
"The traitor! The traitor!!"
Su Yan lowered her head and thought for a while.
“Father, I have learned some rudimentary skills while I was away from home, and I would like to ask you for some guidance today.”
This was probably because Su's father was a military general.
They disregard and despise those rules of etiquette.
Compared to writing brushes, ink, paper, and inkstones, Su's father preferred swords, spears, and clubs.
Look at this broken inkstone on the ground.
They're all gone.
I estimate it hasn't been used for at least seven or eight days.
Then look at the bow and long sword hanging on the wall.
You should know, this is a study.
I haven't read many books, but the handle of this long sword has become black from being swung around so often.
In Su's father's eyes, Su Yan was a man.
She's so fair-skinned and shy.
He has absolutely no masculinity.
The more Su's father looked at Su Yan, the angrier he became.
Especially hearing about the things he did makes me angry.
I wish I could hang him up and beat him up.
Originally, Su's father intended to punish Su Yan by making her kneel in the ancestral hall.
Now, hearing Su Yan's words, which sounded like a challenge, was quite a shock.
Su's father's eyes lit up.
In the past, this child was always very submissive to him, as if he were afraid that the child would eat him up.
