"Wait a minute." Captain Hu frowned. "Mr. Xu, please cooperate with our search before you leave."
Xu Zheng sneered and refused to budge. "What do you mean? Are you doubting us?"
The two people standing behind Mo Qin immediately took out their guns and took a defensive stance.
"Don't get excited, it's just a routine inspection," Captain Hu explained. "You've been working with our people the whole time, so of course we trust you. But if something goes wrong, and the higher-ups hold us accountable, we won't be able to explain ourselves, right?"
Of course, the person he wanted to investigate was Mo Qin, and he was afraid that this pick-up was just a cover.
