Bei Mo glanced at her and smiled gently, a rare occurrence for him.
"Then what should we do?" He leaned closer, his deep gaze falling on her face with a hint of heat. "Or, should we sneak in?"
His long, slender, fair hand gently pinched her smooth cheek, his tone slightly indulgent.
Rong Shang looked at him, raised her eyebrows, and then said nothing.
Outside, the heavy rain gradually stopped.
Bei Mo opened the car door and took out that big bag... cough, sanitary napkins.
He then went to the passenger side, opened the door, and stuffed the things in his hand inside for Rong Shang to hold.
Rong Shang looked at him, puzzled.
But then he bent down, and without saying a word, simply picked her up and carried her horizontally.
"Eh."
Rong Chang's heart was filled with resentment.
Because Bei Mo was wearing a white shirt tonight, she was afraid that if she hugged him, his clothes would be stained red.
The man remained calm, glanced at her with his eyes lowered, and replied indifferently, "It's nothing."
What is there to complain about with one's own wife?
As night deepened, Bei Mo carried Rong Shang and hurriedly walked towards the backyard.
In a brightly lit room in a high-rise building, a slender figure stood in front of the floor-to-ceiling window.
When she saw Bei Mo, Madam Bei wanted to call him over and ask him to come up so she could ask him about what happened that night.
Who knew that the next second, he picked a girl out of the passenger seat and walked towards the backyard.
With a furrowed brow, Madam Bei craned her neck to look over.
Rong Chang immediately noticed the intense gaze directed at her from above.
"Will your family take this very seriously?"
Since she had nothing better to do, she decided to start taking a liking to his family.
Upon hearing this, Bei Mo answered truthfully, "My dad has a little bit, but my mom doesn't."
He carried her through the back door of the backyard.
When they reached the top of the stairs, he finally let go and put her down. Then he reached out and hugged her, turning to pin her against the wall and between his arms.
"What, are you scared?"
With his burning gaze fixed on her, Bei Mo smiled, a faint curve forming naturally, his smile utterly captivating.
Rong Shang glanced at him, but smiled without saying a word.
At that moment, faint footsteps could be heard from about several dozen meters away.
Rong Shang heard this and her eyes showed a hint of interest.
Bei Mo, of course, had no idea.
He slowly lowered his head, his warm, thin lips brushing against her cheek as he leaned closer, his deep voice carrying a hint of domineering.
"Gu Nishang, even if you're afraid now, there's no turning back."
"Yeah?"
Rong Chang chuckled softly.
Bei Mo glanced at her, his dark eyes pausing for a moment.
He thought she was really going to back out, so he grabbed her chin and lifted her up, saying fiercely, "Don't scare me!"
He bowed his head and kissed her directly.
Just then, a woman wearing a plain-colored nightgown walked over.
Upon seeing the rather heated scene before her, Madam Bei was somewhat taken aback.
Her face flushed red, she coughed twice, and called out, "Mo'er, what are you doing?"
Madam Bei's voice suddenly came from behind, startling Bei Mo.
He quickly raised his hand and instinctively pulled Rong Shang into his arms to block Madam Bei's gaze from looking at her.
White light shone down from the stairwell.
Bei Mo's earlobes were slightly red.
He pursed his thin lips, remained silent for a couple of seconds, and then asked, "Mom, what brings you here?"
What he really meant was, "How did you know I was here?"
At this moment, Rong Shang was "obediently" staying in his arms. When she heard the man's rapidly beating heartbeat, she raised the corners of her lips, her charming smile revealing a hint of interest.
