She walked over slowly and greeted him with a smile, but the smile didn't reach her eyes.
"Good morning, Your Highness."
Allen nodded, then said "Excuse me," but his deep gaze went past Rong Shang and looked behind her. Unfortunately, it was empty; he didn't see the human there.
Raising an eyebrow, Allen smiled and asked, "Your Highness, where is your male concubine?"
Knowing all along that he had come for Helian Junmo, Rong Shang's expression was somewhat smug as she casually tossed her hair.
"Sorry, he hasn't gotten up yet."
Sitting down on the sofa, Rong Shang leaned back against the chair, her posture exuding an elegant languidness.
But then, a cold wind blew past her ear, and her delicate chin was gently pinched. As she looked up, Allen's other hand was already on the armrest of the sofa, trapping her within his sight.
Then, a casual yet slightly amused voice slowly emerged from his throat, "Your Highness, I wonder if Allen would have the honor of becoming one of your male favorites?"
"Heh." A hint of coldness flashed in her eyes, and Rong Shang's small face twitched. His hand immediately slid down from her chin. "The Earl is joking."
"Oh? What if I'm serious?"
