After that day, Huabei Star was afraid.
I never asked her out for another drinking session.
Rong Shang slept in the studio for five days in a row.
On the sixth day, Mrs. Hua called to complain to the Huo family.
They couldn't stay there any longer, so they sent someone over to find her.
He is the eldest son of the Huo family, and also the original owner's nominal older brother, Huo Bai.
To be fair, Huo Bai was usually quite nice to her; his relationship with the original owner was always very polite.
Although they were on friendly terms, they seemed a little distant.
The first thing he said as he walked into the studio was, "Your father wants you to go back."
Rong Shang raised an eyebrow upon hearing this. "Oh? What happened?"
Perhaps it's related to her recent absence from the Hua family?
Huo Bai pursed his lips, his tone still indifferent, "I don't know."
"Okay." Rong Shang nodded. "Wait for me to get off work."
Chen Xinlan just went to class.
There's no one guarding this place, so she can't leave anytime soon.
Huo Bai understood her. He glanced at his watch and asked her what time she would get off work.
She said six o'clock.
There's still more than an hour to go.
Huo Bai couldn't stand it any longer. He said, "I have things to do at the company. Why don't you talk to Dad yourself?"
"Um."
It seems they agreed.
But after Huo Bai left, Rong Shang didn't call back.
She waited until six o'clock to get off work.
He said goodbye to Chen Xinlan and left.
We encountered rush hour traffic on the way, and it was already seven o'clock when we arrived at the Huo family's house.
My stomach was already growling with hunger.
Rong Chang wanted to have a meal before entering the room.
But before he could even get to the kitchen, Huo Bingyan saw him.
"Huo Qiyan, why are you only coming back now?"
Rong Shang turned around when she heard the sound, and saw that the other party was coming aggressively.
She shrugged and said casually, "I just got off work."
"Didn't your older brother come to find you at four o'clock?"
What time is it now?
Huo Bingyan checked the time; it was already seven o'clock.
Rong Shang didn't want to talk to her. "Where's Dad?"
Didn't you need to talk to her?
"Answer my question first."
She hates being ignored the most.
Rong Shang was about to go upstairs when Huo Bingyan stopped her.
"Huo Qiyan, do you dare to ignore what I said?"
"Do I?" Rong Shang smiled slightly.
Huo Bingyan frowned. She was still saying no!
She crossed her arms and turned around, then suddenly said defiantly, "I don't know where Dad is now."
"Oh really?" That's even better.
Rong Shang chuckled again, "Since Dad isn't here, I'll head back now."
"you!"
As soon as she turned around, Huo Bingyan grabbed her hand.
Just then, Mr. Huo came down the stairs.
His face turned ashen when he saw Rong Shang. "Huo Qiyan."
With a roar, Huo Bingyan raised her eyebrows triumphantly.
let go.
Turning around, Huo Bingyan saw Old Master Huo and tattled to him, "Dad, she just said she was leaving."
“I told her you were in the study, and she actually said she was busy with something and not to bother her unless necessary.”
She framed Rong Shang and turned the tables on her.
Rong Chang, however, was not afraid.
Old Master Huo frowned and pointed at her, "Come up here now."
After speaking, he turned and went upstairs.
As soon as Master Huo left, Huo Bingyan stuck out her tongue at her and made a face.
Rong Shang didn't even glance at it.
As he walked over, he deliberately stepped on her foot.
Huo Bingyan shouted.
Rong Shang quickly withdrew her foot and went upstairs.
"Huo Qiyan!"
Huo Bingyan was so angry that she cursed at her retreating figure.
Just then, someone walked up from behind and reached out to pat Huo Bingyan's head. "What's wrong? Who made my little princess angry?"
When Huo Bingyan turned around and saw the man in front of her, she pouted and cried out aggrievedly, "Second Brother, Qi Yan bullied me."
