"I won't let go!"
"Let her go!"
Two different voices rang out at the same time; the former was Allen, and the latter was Helian Junmo.
Turning his head, Allen cracked his neck, his bones popping. He looked at Helian Junmo with a murderous glint in his eyes. "You want to take it from me?"
"I don't want to." Helian Junmo said coldly, "She was always mine, why would I take her away?"
Taken aback, Rong Chang turned and glanced at Helian Junmo.
Allen was furious. He slightly opened his mouth, revealing sharp fangs that contrasted sharply with his blood-red lips.
The surrounding temperature dropped, and Rong Shang, knowing that Helian Junmo had angered Allen, stepped in front of Helian Junmo before he could lose his temper.
In an instant, Allen met her eyes, and the fierce aura around him gradually subsided.
Unfortunately, the next second he heard the most heartless words from Rong Shang's mouth: "Allen, I don't care what kind of feelings you had for me before, listen to me clearly now, I have absolutely no interest in you."
"Whether it's exploitation or genuine affection, I don't care."
Rong Shang never gives hope to people she's not interested in.
Allen paused for a moment, then slowly slid his hand down from hers.
He frowned, a glint of something glistening in his eyes, glanced at Helian Junmo, and then gave a mocking laugh.
"Very good, very good."
Unaware that being seriously rejected felt like this, Allen lowered his eyes and clenched his fists at his sides.
Rong Shang heard him chuckle, and then saw with her own eyes that the smile on his lips immediately disappeared after he raised his head.
"It's just love and romance. Who am I, Allen? Why would I waste my energy on such worthless feelings? Ha, I'm not as shallow as you guys."
Despite speaking of how indifferent he was before, when he uttered that final "ha," an overwhelming bitterness welled up in his heart.
Allen took a few steps back until he reached the sofa before sitting down.
Over here, Rong Shang pursed her lips and turned her head, but unexpectedly met Helian Junmo's deep gaze.
He was looking at her too.
They remained silent for a while, but eventually decided to go downstairs together for breakfast.
But when they reached the door, Allen's icy voice rang out again, "Stop!"
Rong Shang asked displeasedly, "What are you trying to say now?"
After glancing at her, Allen suddenly turned his face away haughtily, "I don't want to talk to you."
"Helian Junmo, why are you here?"
Raising an eyebrow, Helian Junmo was somewhat surprised but answered truthfully, "I was captured by the princess."
Allen, "..."
That's amazing!
"Since you were arrested, why aren't your family worried?"
Allen had this question ever since he investigated Helian Junmo's identity.
When he suddenly asked this question, Helian Junmo's eyes flickered, and Rong Shang beside him also subconsciously turned her head to look at him.
She wanted to make up a lie for him, but Helian Junmo spoke first, "I've been independent since I was a child. In the past, even if I stayed abroad for a year or two, I didn't need to go home to report."
“I was at a dance party when I was brought here. I had told my family before I left that I had to go on a business trip to a neighboring city after the party. My family didn’t know that I had been brought here.”
"Oh?" Allen raised an eyebrow. Although Helian Junmo's words were reasonable and well-founded, his scrutinizing gaze was still fixed on him.
Is it really that simple?
