At eight o'clock, the dinner officially began.
When Rong Shang came down from the rooftop, Huo Bingyan was already there.
At the time, she was with Mr. Huo, who was happily taking her to meet some of his friends.
He proudly introduced her to everyone as his daughter.
She was the overall champion of "Energetic Girl".
Glug glug.
I heard someone's stomach growling.
Rong Chang turned her head and looked over, meeting the man's eyes.
He gave a polite but slightly awkward smile.
Are you hungry?
Hua Xichen nodded, somewhat embarrassed, "I was hungry."
He ate lunch early, so it's been eight or nine hours now.
Turning around, Rong Shang saw that some tables were already set with food.
She took his hand and walked forward. The man glanced down at her, then paused.
"Eat if you're hungry."
Some people over there were still exchanging pleasantries.
Rong Chang then pulled him to sit down beside her.
Hua Xichen picked up a piece of lobster with his chopsticks and gave it to him. He looked around and was a little embarrassed to eat it. "Qi Yan, this is not a good idea."
No one else has touched their chopsticks yet.
"What's wrong with that?" Rong Shang said, afraid that he would feel embarrassed, and she tasted a piece herself first.
Just then, someone across from her looked over.
Feeling awkward about saying anything to her, the woman smiled, then looked down at her phone.
"Eat."
Rong Chang urged him, but Hua Xichen dared not.
"Let's wait a little longer."
We'll start eating when Master Huo says it's time to use our chopsticks.
Rong Shang wanted to call him stupid. The couple was busy showing off their daughter to everyone, so they hadn't remembered that it was supposed to be 7:30, and more than half an hour had already passed.
"If you won't eat it, I will."
Everyone at the table immediately picked up their chopsticks.
The others were clearly hungry, but since Master Huo didn't say anything, they didn't dare to make decisions on their own.
Then Rong Shang said, "Eat up, everyone. What are you looking at me for?"
The woman sitting opposite her seemed to be getting restless.
She exchanged a glance with the person beside her, and then they both picked up their chopsticks.
Rong Shang smiled and turned to look at the man beside her. "Can you eat now?"
He smiled, his smile full of affection.
Sure enough, out of all thirty-two tables, only their table started eating.
When Master Huo finished exchanging pleasantries with Huo Bingyan and turned back to look at them, his expression changed drastically.
Huo Qiyan!!
Just then, he saw his second son, Huo Yan, walk past him and immediately called out his name.
Let him go over there and see if it's Huo Qiyan causing trouble again.
After finishing a few dishes, Rong Chang patted her stomach contentedly.
Just as he was about to drink his beverage, Huo Yan arrived.
He then questioned her, "Who told you to eat it?"
"Dad hasn't said we can start eating yet."
When he said that, many people present were proven wrong.
They silently put down their chopsticks, feeling incredibly embarrassed.
At this moment, the woman opposite Rong Chang looked at Huo Yan and said, "Ah Yan, we are all hungry."
And wasn't it supposed to start at 7:30?
It's 8:12 now.
"Shut up!"
The woman seemed to know him very well.
After being yelled at by Huo Yan, she pouted, looking aggrieved.
"That's obviously it." She muttered to herself, not daring to let him hear.
Rong Shang glanced back at him, then ignored him.
She picked up the juice on the table and drank it in big gulps.
Huo Yan was so angry that he reached out and snatched the cup from Rong Shang's hand.
Snap!
The wine glass was slammed onto the table, and the juice inside splashed all over her face.
Hua Xichen saw it and instinctively pulled out a tissue to wipe her face.
But Huo Yan was still unconvinced. He grabbed Rong Shang's shoulder and raised his hand to hit her.
To everyone's surprise, the man in front of her suddenly stood up.
