"Yes." He nodded, his gaze gentle.
If Rong Shang still doesn't recognize him by this point, then all these months of getting along have been for nothing.
"That's alright," Rong Shang asked him. "Have you eaten yet?"
He shook his head.
Rong Shang turned around and immediately picked up a boxed lunch from the table and handed it over.
Hua Xichen reached out and took it, his gaze pausing.
The next second I heard her say, "Here, have this. I'll eat what you cooked."
With just one sentence, a smile appeared on Hua Xichen's face.
Upon seeing this, the two female employees next to them exclaimed "Oh!" with meaningful smiles on their faces.
After the meal, the two people deliberately moved away, giving them some space to be alone.
Rong Chang took this opportunity to ask some questions.
At first, Hua Xichen didn't want to talk about it.
After she asked more questions, he felt embarrassed to change the subject.
Silence, head bowed.
