Chapter 2724 Report: Young Master Has Got Another Mental Breakdown 215

There's no way Madam Hua could win an argument with him.

He knew in his heart that last night he had told his father that they couldn't reach an agreement, and it had escalated to the point of severing their father-son relationship.

Madam Hua didn't want it; she really didn't want her family, which she had painstakingly built up over decades, to be destroyed because of this woman.

The main reason she came here today is to resolve this matter.

Hua Xichen knew her temper and didn't want her to dwell on this matter any longer, so he put his hand on her shoulder and pushed her forward.

"Go back, don't think about anything else."

Anyway, if you want him to break off the engagement with Huo Qiyan, there's no room for discussion.

This is the first time Hua Xichen has taken such a firm stance.

Madam Hua refused to leave, but he pushed her into the car.

No, son.

He wanted to get out of the car, but Hua Xichen seized the opportunity and slammed the car door shut with a bang.

He turned and left.

Mrs. Hua was both angry and helpless.

well.

It's over.

Xi Chen is now completely infatuated with that woman.

Because he had completely fallen out with Mr. Hua, Hua Xichen no longer needed to go to work at the company.

At noon, he made a lunchbox and drove himself to the studio to find Rong Shang.

To her surprise, her takeout had already arrived when she got there.

Seeing her and two other employees getting ready to eat, Hua Xichen suddenly felt that this trip was ill-timed.

Feeling a little embarrassed, he touched his neck.

For a moment, I didn't know whether to go in or go back.

While she hesitated, someone saw her.

He said to Rong Shang, "Qi Yan, your fiancé has arrived."

Rong Shang looked up and went outside.

When she met the man's gaze, she wondered why Hua Xiaojiu had somehow found out today.

"Come in."

She smiled and waved at him.

Hua Xichen smiled and pushed the door open to go inside.

He took the lovingly prepared lunchbox from his hand and presented it to her.

"Um, I didn't know you had already ordered takeout."

"This is..." Rong Shang took it and glanced at it, somewhat surprised, "You made this?"

"Yes." He nodded, his gaze gentle.

If Rong Shang still doesn't recognize him by this point, then all these months of getting along have been for nothing.

"That's alright," Rong Shang asked him. "Have you eaten yet?"

He shook his head.

Rong Shang turned around and immediately picked up a boxed lunch from the table and handed it over.

Hua Xichen reached out and took it, his gaze pausing.

The next second I heard her say, "Here, have this. I'll eat what you cooked."

With just one sentence, a smile appeared on Hua Xichen's face.

Upon seeing this, the two female employees next to them exclaimed "Oh!" with meaningful smiles on their faces.

After the meal, the two people deliberately moved away, giving them some space to be alone.

Rong Chang took this opportunity to ask some questions.

At first, Hua Xichen didn't want to talk about it.

After she asked more questions, he felt embarrassed to change the subject.

Silence, head bowed.

A few seconds later he said calmly, "I've fallen out with my family."

"I know."

You know?

"Yes, your mother told me this morning."

Oh, right.

His mother came to see her.

She must have told me everything.

Hua Xichen was a little annoyed. "I have no idea what they're thinking."

He was there at the time, so he knew better than anyone else.

I understand; such a thing can indeed lead to misunderstandings.

But how should I put it?

Just because of that, do you call her a ghost or a demon?

Hua Xichen couldn't believe it; she was sitting there, alive and well, talking and eating with him.

How could this be a ghost?

Actually, he had doubted her true identity that day, but, as she herself said, she didn't know what was wrong with her at the time.

She felt as if God had given her a boost.
