"I'm not your brother."
"I am not related to you by blood."
He took off his long coat.
He covered her chin with his hand, his gaze sinister, his expression displeased.
Rong Shang looked at him quietly, then he snapped, "Did you hear me?"
With a flash in her eyes, Rong Shang realized what was happening and pushed him off her.
She stood up, her face cold, and said, "Get out!"
Don't think that this will make her soften her heart.
We're leaving.
The man wrapped himself around her from behind again, holding her tightly around the waist.
Rong Shang struggled, and he snapped, "Don't move."
"..."
Breathing, hot and rapid.
Bai Mo's heart is aching. He doesn't know why the person he used to love so much is now facing him with such a strange face.
Those cold words, those actions taken to resist him.
Everything was piercing his heart.
He said, "You don't want to be with me anymore, do you?"
The woman's gaze paused.
The hand that was resting on the back of his hand loosened slightly, probably because he still felt something from those words.
But then the man said, "You don't want to marry me anymore, do you?"
One sentence was enough to bring her back to square one.
Rong Shang suddenly came to her senses and reminded herself not to be deceived by him again.
He's someone who lives in a virtual world; he's just putting on an act with you.
If you take it too seriously, you've already lost.
So she mustered all her strength and broke free from his warm embrace.
Bai Mo looked up when his arms suddenly felt empty.
The next second, she forcefully pulled him out.
I don't know where she got her strength from.
He found himself unable to struggle when she grabbed his hand.
Bang!
She slammed the door shut.
When the man came to his senses, the door was already closed.
And so, he was turned away once again.
Frustrated, Bai Mo scratched his hair, feeling somewhat powerless.
...
Around seven o'clock, the maid, following Bai Mo's instructions, went upstairs to call her down for dinner.
The woman inside said she had already eaten outside.
It was obvious that she had been avoiding him.
The maid came down and said she wasn't eating.
Bai Mo said nothing.
He had his head down and his expression was complicated.
Madam Bai knew he was feeling bad.
She patted his hand and comforted him, "Let's eat first. You'll have the energy to keep looking for her when you're full."
"Hmm." Bai Mo looked at the food in his bowl, but he was actually quite full.
*
A few days later, the kindergarten principal called to ask her why she hadn't gone to class yet.
It was only then that Rong Shang learned that Madam Bai had helped her get a day off a few days earlier.
Five days, plus the weekend, a total of seven days.
Today is Monday.
She was absent again, and the principal finally couldn't hold back and called her.
Rong Shang originally wanted to say that she wouldn't go.
But the thought of the kindergarten children probably still eagerly awaiting her return to school comes to mind.
That's all.
I thought about it for a while.
Rong Chang mentioned her intention to resign to the kindergarten director.
However, she will continue to teach children at the kindergarten until a new teacher is found.
During the phone call, the kindergarten principal was startled and kept asking her if something had happened.
The principal has witnessed her diligence and hard work over the past three years.
She was also gratified, feeling that she was truly blessed, wondering where she could find such a good teacher as Bai Xuan.
"I'm fine," Rong Shangyi said simply.
The kindergarten director felt it was a pity and wanted to keep her.
"Bai Xuan, I know what kind of background you have. I used to wonder why a rich young lady like you would be willing to work in our small kindergarten."
"But later I understood, you really like children."
"You are also a good teacher."
