Just as Mu Jin finished speaking, Rong Shang walked past him and reached out to turn on the room light.
The blinding light shone down, and Mu Jin subconsciously raised her hand to shield her eyes.
But then, the girl walked past him again and stopped in front of him.
When Mu Jin lowered his hand and raised his eyes, he met her captivating peach blossom eyes.
Then he heard her say, "I'm going to break up with him."
"Huh?" Startled, Mu Jin seemed a little incredulous. He moved his lips as if he wanted to say something.
But the girl smiled and added, "We'll break up this weekend!"
I should at least give An Chen some kind of breakup gift.
But Mu Jin was clearly startled by her sudden remark.
Frowning, his dark, deep eyes were fixed on her. "Xia Yan, you're lying to me again."
"I don't need you to say nice things to coax me."
If you're worried about what he might do, there's no need to worry.
"You should get some rest!"
Turning around, Mu Jin strode away.
Unfortunately, someone grabbed his arm, forcing him to stop.
"Mu Jin, do you still want to be with me?"
"If I ask you, will you agree?" Mu Jin glanced at her indifferently, turning his head slightly.
It seems they thought what she was saying was nonsense.
Judging from his expression, he probably still doesn't believe she would break up with An Chen.
With an indifferent shrug, Rong Shang simply let go of her hand, turned around, and walked into the house. "Fine, believe it or not."
Ignoring Mu Jin's presence, Rong Shang lay back down on the bed. "Alright, I'm going to sleep. You can leave now."
With a deep gaze, Mu Jin looked at her back and began to hesitate.
Actually, it seems he had no other choice but to believe.
Lost in thought, Mu Jin stared at her, momentarily lost in thought.
A few seconds later, the girl suddenly turned around.
Caught off guard by their sudden eye contact, Mu Jin was startled and quickly looked away.

The basketball tournament between several schools has come to an end in the last couple of days.
Three basketball teams led by Mu Jin, An Chen, and another team have made it into the top three, and the final game is scheduled for tomorrow afternoon.
That evening, just as Rong Shang came out of the classroom, her deskmate rushed back to tell her that An Chen had gotten into a fight with Mu Jin at the school gate.
In an instant, with a frown, Rong Shang ran past her and out.
As night fell, lights came on around the school.
By this time, most of the students had already left, but near the school, Mu Jin's group and An Chen's group started fighting.
It is said that it was because An Chen's people spoke ill of Xia Yan during the conversation, which was overheard by Mu Jin.
He went up and punched the man.
The two sides were already quite tense during the recent competition because of their status as opponents.
Mu Jin's punch immediately enraged the other side, and the two sides instantly started fighting.
Among these people, apart from Mu Jin and Fang Xinyi's brother who had trained, the others were roughly equal in strength.
They started fighting, and both sides got injured.
But An Chen wasn't so lucky.
He had a sharp tongue and insisted on using Xia Yan to mock Mu Jin, and as a result, he got punched several times by Mu Jin in less than a minute.
When Rong Shang came out, he was pinned to the ground by Mu Jin and unable to move.
