Night had fallen, and most of the castle lights had been turned off.
Only the magic hut was still lit with white lights.
When Shi Feng opened the door and came in from the outside, Sophie was still fiddling with various magical potions with strange effects.
Hearing the sound, she subconsciously raised the corners of her lips, and a smile naturally formed on her face.
"The winds of time".
Sophie put down the bottles and jars she was holding, took off her white gloves, and turned around.
But when she raised her eyes and glanced at the man in front of her, her brows furrowed, and Sophie immediately noticed that he was acting strangely tonight. "What's wrong? Didn't the Third Prince drink?"
"Hmm." Stepping inside, Shi Feng glanced at Sophie only symbolically before heading straight for the recliner behind the screen.
"What about the medicine?"
He tripped and fell, and the bottle broke.
Not wanting to explain too much, Shi Feng briefly recounted the process.
Sophie, "..."
"Fell again?" Sophie's expression turned cold, and her tone became sharp. "Was this guy doing it on purpose?"
Such a big person, can fall down anytime, anywhere?
Shi Feng did not speak.
He stopped in front of the recliner, then sat down.
Through the mask, Sophie saw that he had closed his eyes.
It seems like she's feeling tired.
"The winds of time".
Sophie suddenly felt a little guilty because she had been unable to help him fulfill his wish.
Just as she lowered her eyes in dejection, the man opposite her raised his eyes again.
He finally glanced at her, but said in a cold tone, "You don't need to feel sorry. We're just mutually benefiting from each other."
Yes, if it weren't for the fact that she could help him complete his mission, Shi Feng would never have stayed here to do things for her.
Although... she didn't ask him to do anything.
"Shifeng," Sophie said sadly, "was our relationship really just about each of us getting what we needed?"
"Could it be...could it be that I...have something to do with you..."
"Your Grace, you've overdone it again."
Before Sophie could finish speaking, Shi Feng interrupted her abruptly.
She knew that Shi Feng didn't like her saying these things.
Sophie pursed her lips and finally kept them closed.
But then, she noticed with her sharp eyes that there was a tiny grain of sand stuck to the man's mask.
She walked over and reached out to help him clean his mask.
As soon as she got close, Shi Feng immediately lay down on the recliner, avoiding her touch.
Sophie, "..."
"Shifeng, did you take off your mask when you went out this evening?" Sophie pointed with her finger, her tone somewhat meaningful. "The mask was dirty."
Sophie knew just how severe Shi Feng's obsessive-compulsive disorder was.
And now...
As if he had just found out, the man raised his well-defined hand and touched the mask.
He then swept the tiny grain of sand away.
He hummed in agreement.
His voice was low and carried a hint of displeasure.
Because... he thought of Si Qi.
In the evening, Shi Feng went out to deliver that bottle of magic potion.
Sophie frowned. "Did the Third Prince tell you to take it off?"
To be honest, the third prince was extremely curious. He used to like to come and ask her questions from time to time.
Now that he sees Shi Feng wearing a mask every time he goes out, he must be very curious, right?
Although the third prince is not the same as before.
But Sophie never expected it to be...
"He picked it himself."
After saying this, Shi Feng closed his eyes again, clearly unwilling to say anything more.
