An unexpectedly tragic ending.
The room was a bit stuffy, and Jiang Qiao sat up from the beauty couch. She couldn't sleep and wanted to go out for a walk.
It was late at night, the moon was high in the clouds, and the snow had slowed down.
Jiang Qiao put on a new red fluffy cloak, picked out a nice oil-paper umbrella and walked out.
As soon as she walked out of the palace, she saw Han Dong sneaking out.
Jiang Qiao sneered. She had wanted to keep a close eye on the man, but he was so bold that he started to crawl out the moment he started begging for mercy.
Han Dong leaned forward and looked around, walking towards Kunning Palace. She thought carefully and realized that the Empress Dowager and the Queen were about to die. Sooner or later, the harem would be ruled by Concubine Zhu, and she could not stand on the wrong side.
