Chapter 7 It's not something you do every day

After two days of getting along, Su Yumo had a general understanding of the world she lived in.

They believed in the gods, and the great gods gave them vast grasslands where more than 30 tribes lived scattered around.

For two hundred years, there were constant wars between tribes for cattle, sheep, land and water.

Strong tribes will swallow up weak tribes to expand their own power. If the two sides are of similar strength and both are defeated, they will give up this tough bone and look for their next target.

Until three years ago, Nastu became king. He led the most elite and brave warriors in the tribe, left his hometown Senggeri, and opened his own era with swords.

If the tribe surrenders without a fight, Nastu will not harm innocent people, and the two sides will sign an alliance to pledge eternal loyalty to Nastu.

However, this situation is extremely rare. The blood in the bones of the grassland people does not allow them to kneel down and surrender in humiliation. Many tribes fought until the last moment before surrendering to Nastu's cavalry.

Su Yumo looked at his face in the water, waved his slender hands at the water twice, and his expression gradually became relaxed.

She tilted her head and held her chin with her hand, one hand still dangling in the water. How could she roll onto the bed with him?

Aren’t people from the grassland generally bold, unrestrained and unconcerned with details?

Why did it change when it came to him?

Is it because his great cause has not yet been accomplished that he dares not talk about love?

"Guli, your earring fell off."

A clear voice interrupted her thoughts.

She realized that she had indeed lost an earring this morning. She had wanted to look for it, but the army was already preparing to set off, so she gave up.

Later, I thought that wearing one earring was also pretty, so I put the matter behind me.

"for you."

The person who came was half-crouching beside her. He was a young man, probably less than 20 years old, with rosy cheeks and a slightly childish face, but there was a bit of determination between his eyebrows.

As soon as he arrived, the air was filled with the smell of sheep.

They had just killed a few sheep and were going to roast them for dinner. Su Yumo couldn't stand the smell of sheep, so he found a quiet place with water to stay for a while.

She doesn't look for the sheep, the sheep come to her.

Su Yumo suppressed the turmoil in her heart, took the earrings from his palm, quickly put them on her ears, and smiled at him.

"Thanks, go eat your meat."

The man didn't move. He looked into her eyes and asked in a low voice, "The Khan asks you if the operation was successful."

Su Yumo's eyelashes trembled, and his mind was in a turmoil. He should be the person sent by King Yundan Khan to contact her.

For some reason, she felt a little excited, and her mind was filled with the words "Heaven sent..."

She put away the smile on her lips and pretended to be a cold-blooded killer, her voice just as low.

"He's very alert and it's still a work in progress."

The man kept staring into her eyes, as if trying to determine whether he was real or fake. Su Yumo was not afraid at all, and met his gaze with her deep brown eyes.

At this time, it’s a test of momentum. Whoever moves first loses.

"Host, I've found the 'No Pain' Golden Pill' for you. Would you like to use it now?"

Su Yumo now really wants to pull the system out and give it a good beating.

She gritted her teeth and remained calm. After a moment of stalemate, the man finally turned around, grabbed a handful of grass and threw it into the water. He seemed dissatisfied and turned around again, giving a stern order.

"It must be completed within three days."

"I understand." His eyes were firm.

In the distance, the sounds of long swords clashing and the crowd cheering could be vaguely heard. It must be that two people couldn't stand each other and started to spar with each other.

He brushed the dirt off his hands, stood up and walked towards where the crowd gathered.

When he walked away, Su Yumo's expression changed instantly.

"System, tell me honestly, are you the worst of all systems?"

"Um... Host, this question has nothing to do with the mission, so I'm sorry I can't answer it."

Su Yumo had completely lost confidence in this teammate, but fortunately he was not completely useless, so she lay back.

"Then give me the golden elixir."

"Okay, host, begin using the 'Golden Pill of No Pain'. The effect is permanent."

Su Yumo pinched her arm and found that there was indeed no pain. She increased the strength and still felt no pain. She was satisfied.

"System, if there's nothing else, please leave the court."

"twitter!"

Looking at the afterglow left by the setting sun, she thought to herself that based on the system configuration, Stu would definitely win in the end. A career-oriented man like him should realize his ambitions first and then consider his love life.

Su Yumo made up his mind to concentrate all his efforts on his career first.

When Nastu returned to the tent at night, Su Yumo was already lying on the couch with his clothes on.

"You're here." The voice was playful and a little excited.

Nastu stopped as he stepped into the tent and glanced at the woman who was sitting up on the couch. Her black hair, which reached her waist, was draped neatly behind her back. Her white dress looked a little fragile in the firelight, but her face was full of smiles. The colors of summer and winter appeared on her at the same time, and there was no disobedience.

What tricks is she going to play?

Su Yumo waved to Nastu, "Khan, come up to the bed quickly, I have something to tell you."

Nastu could see that the woman in front of him was too excited today. It was simply because someone from King Yundan Khan had contacted her.

Although he had already guessed it, he was still quite curious about how she would react.

He walked in, opened his arms, stretched, moved his head, picked up the kettle on the table and poured himself a glass of water, then slowly loosened his belt.

Su Yumo looked at Stu's slow movements and became anxious. She still had a lot to say.
