Cen Yu realized that she was referring to Chi Jiazhen.
“…Friend.” Cen Yu said cautiously after thinking for a while about his relationship with Chi Jiazhen.
“Friends,” the woman muttered. “It’s so strange. I thought insects wouldn’t be friends with Omegas.”
"Except for those that undergo secondary differentiation."
"Secondary differentiation?" Cen Yu grasped a key word.
Perhaps it was the amusing surprise on Cen Yu's face, or perhaps it was a rare piece of gossip that no one hadn't heard before, but the woman immediately spoke up, "Of course." She said with a hint of pride, her scorpion-like tail swaying behind her, "The story of an Alpha turning into an Omega."
"Disaster, you know? This is a disaster for the insects."
She expressed some sympathy, unsure whether she was sympathizing with the insect or the Omega.
“Lily,” Wen Zhen began, “you’ve said it many times already.”
“There are always people who haven’t heard of it,” Lily said nonchalantly, as she enthusiastically shared this bombshell news among the insects with Cen Yu.
Unlike humans, the insectoids do not have a star network, but their racial characteristics give them unique communication channels, which, like communicators, can transmit over long distances to other insectoids at specific frequencies.
Through Lily's narration, Cen Yu finally understood what had happened.
An Alpha captured by a certain Ohmu (a type of mythical creature) unexpectedly became an Omega after becoming pregnant.
However, Omega's mental strength and physical constitution were insufficient to support the growth of the insect, leaving the Ohmu with no choice but to either kill Omega or remove the Ohmu.
"And then?" Cen Yu asked Lily.
"I don't know," Lily shook her head.
"The King Insect has gone missing."
She handed Wenzhen all the fuel she needed, saying, "Use it carefully, the bugs can easily spot it."
"I don't want to cause trouble."
After saying that, she looked at Cen Yu with great interest, "Is your partner also a Zerg?"
“I admire your courage, but I’ve heard that some people love this,” she muttered to herself. “...It’s a different experience than for humans.”
"..." Cen Yu felt that the other party was implying something, but he had no evidence.
"No." Cen Yu lied with a blank expression, "We are good friends."
Lily didn't believe it at all, giving him a look that said, "Don't explain, I understand." She then said to Cen Yu considerately, "Did you elope here?"
"Planet Blue is a nice place."
“At least that’s how it is for you.” She then chuckled.
Wen Zhen put the fuel in his pocket. "No more?" he asked Lily.
“No,” Lily said immediately, her scorpion tail twitching. “That’s all.”
Just as Wen Zhen was about to leave with Cen Yu, Lily suddenly asked, "Wen Zhen, is the Federation beautiful?"
Wen Zhen stopped and looked at Lily. "It should be pretty good." He thought for a moment and described to Lily the unique planets of the Federation. On the most famous resort planet, the beaches were pink and part of the seawater floated in the air. There were non-intelligent creatures, like mermaids, floating in this jelly-like sea.
A tranquil, luxurious, and peaceful place, completely different from the blue planet.
Lily listened for a long time.
Cen Yu was unaware that Wen Zhen was so talkative, but he noticed that Wen Zhen was surprisingly patient when facing Lily.
After describing the unique planets of the Federation, Lily pulled out another energy block and tossed it to him, saying, "An extra freebie."
"Thank you," Wen Zhen said.
Cen Yu glanced back at Lily again, then hurriedly followed Wen Zhen away.
Only after Lily had disappeared from sight did Cen Yu suddenly ask, "...Is her hometown in the Federation?"
“The person who gave birth to her was indeed an Alpha from the Federation.” Wen Zhen walked quickly through the flooded alley. “I’ve seen him.”
"who."
“That Alpha,” Wen Zhen said, as if remembering something, “disappeared during a mission. He was 23 years old that year.”
Cen Yu frowned. After realizing how the Zerg were born, he immediately understood that this was not a pleasant story.
"Lily has seen him?"
“Of course not.” Wen Zhen’s face showed a smile that was hard to tell whether it was sarcastic or not. He turned his head to look at Cen Yu. “After Lily was born, what she saw was his corpse. The Zerg are not innocent and they all deserve to die.”
"What about Lily?"
Wen Zhen did not speak.
He and Cen Yu were walking along the flooded road, and they had to be very careful to keep the dirty water from getting on their shoes.
After navigating countless similar alleys, Wen Zhen finally spoke.
"I have no idea."
Wen Zhen continued walking forward, "How old do you think Lily is?"
"25 years old? 30 years old?" Cen Yu guessed.
The opponent possesses half of the characteristics of the Zerg, making it difficult for him to accurately estimate the opponent's age.
"15 years old."
Wen Zhen touched his neck and turned to look at Cen Yu. "I can kill that bug, but I can't kill Lily."
Cen Yu certainly remembered what Wen Zhen had said about the group of half-human, half-insect creatures on Planet Aquamarine, whose lifespans were extremely short.
Wen Zhen will never come back after this departure. Perhaps from beginning to end, Lily only thought of Wen Zhen as an unlucky guy who accidentally fell onto the Blue Planet. She only knew that he came from the Federation, her other homeland.
So when she learned that Wen Zhen was leaving, she couldn't help but ask him what the Federation was like.
"Do you want to take her with you?" Cen Yu asked again.
Anyway, there's still room for one more person in Wen Zhen's standard mecha.
