Chapter 415 The Scumbag Who Transmigrated into a Post-Apocalyptic Novel 33

“Squat down,” Cen Yu said, then placed the last cushion on He Yuxing.

He Yuxing instinctively grabbed Cen Yu's wrist, but Cen Yu immediately broke free, saying, "I'm going somewhere else."

He didn't even have time to see He Yuxing's expression before he ran away... He put the head in the freezer halfway there and then found a satisfactory hiding place.

Cen Yu looked up at the coffee machine shelf, climbed directly onto the second shelf, curled up on it, and placed the dusty coffee machine in front of him.

He had just finished these actions less than half a minute ago when he heard the sound of footsteps.

Soon the thing revealed its true form—

The monster was about two meters tall, its entire body was deathly white, and it had nothing in the areas of eyes and nose, except for its mouth which stretched all the way to its ears.

Cen Yu slowed his breathing.

The monster was as thin as a bamboo pole, and it had two ears on its hands, listening intently to the sounds around it.

Then came another monster, larger, taller, and longer than the first, with even larger ears. It seemed to be able to hear even the slightest sounds, so Cen Yu stopped moving the moment that monster appeared.

Monster Number One roared a few times, seemingly expressing its dissatisfaction at not finding its prey.

Number Two slowly made his way over along the shelf... Cen Yu, who was huddled behind the coffee machine, soon met Number Two's gaze.

The monster's eye area was empty, but there was a slight indentation, as if it once had eyes that disappeared after it became a monster.

It couldn't see Cen Yu, but it was listening intently to the sounds.

Cen Yu stared expressionlessly at Monster Number Two, which suddenly loomed in front of him; the creature's hand had already touched the coffee machine.

Number One roared again, seemingly accusing it of wasting time here.

Number Two roared a few times in response, but in the end it left the passage and walked deeper into the supermarket with Number One...

Cen Yu did not relax; he remained curled up on the shelf as if those things had not left.

About half an hour later... he finally climbed down from the shelf, being very careful and trying not to make a sound.

Soon, he heard some more noise.

He stood warily behind the shelf, ready to attack, only to find that it was a member of the squad who had come.

Cen Yu couldn't remember the other person's name.

He said to Cen Yu, "That thing is gone. The captain asked me to look for you." As he spoke, he turned his head and gestured for Cen Yu to hurry up and follow him.

Cen Yu didn't move; he stood beside the shelf.

The man turned to look at him. "Aren't you leaving?"

“Make a different expression,” Cen Yu said, looking at the person’s smiling face. “I’m allergic to other people’s smiles.”
