Pei Hengyun nodded.

Cen Yu is not the first character to die in the novel.

The novel ends here, with an open ending; no one knows who the survivor was.
Cen Yu guessed that it was probably one of the main characters' seme (dominant partner).
The main character emphasized 2012 so much, which seems like a significant foreshadowing in the original work, right? Something must have happened that year that led to the group of people returning to their hometown for a class reunion only to meet with misfortune.
As Cen Yu stood there pondering, he noticed Pei Hengyun's phone suddenly vibrate.
The other person took a few steps away from him to answer the phone, nodded after a moment, responded a few more times, and then hung up.
He turned to look at Cen Yu, "The class monitor said everything has been arranged."
Pei Hengyun looked at Cen Yu with a smile, "Besides us, there are 8 other people, all of whom are classmates from back then. Everyone just happens to have time to attend the class reunion."

When we arrived at Pei Hengyun's hometown, Siping Village, it was 6 p.m. on July 18.

After all, this class reunion will last for a whole week.
Unless someone takes annual leave or is a teacher like Pei Hengyun who has summer and winter vacations, Jiang Tuan couldn't imagine anyone taking such a long vacation at once.
“Ah…no,” Cen Yu said.
He was wearing a T-shirt and waved at Jiang Tuan, the angel tattoo on his arm clearly visible.
