Blood Prince 32

"By the way, Christian, I have something to tell you." Oliver looked serious, with no expression on his beautiful little face, and his dark eyes were staring at Christian.

Christian instantly understood that this matter was no small matter. He put away his slight smile and straightened up seriously, "Oliver, tell me. If it's something I can do, I'll do it, even if it means going through fire and water."

Oliver smoothed his smooth chin, trying to ignore Leonard's pitiful expression next to him.

"Christian, do you know what I just discovered at Arnold's party and on the Vampire Alliance's Grand Elder?"

The matter involved the Duke, whose status among vampires was second only to the Prince, and the Vampire Alliance that was opposite to the vampires. Christian knew that things were far from being as simple as they seemed.

Christian cleared his throat. "Oliver, go ahead. You and I are both princes. We are the noblest of the vampire race and their protectors. If it involves the survival of the vampire race, I will do it even if it means risking my life."

Oliver stared blankly at the now more serious Christian in front of him. In his previous life, Christian had helped Oliver complete her experiments. He must have loved Oliver terribly! Otherwise, why would he abandon his own responsibilities and go to Oliver's aid without hesitation?

In the end, he ended up dying in a foreign land.

No matter what, he must never betray this pure prince who had given all his true love to him in this life. Oliver came to his senses, "I discovered at Arnold's party last time that Arnold seemed to be plotting something with the top brass of the Vampire Alliance. Wasn't there a period of time before when vampires and vampire hunters were frequently disappearing? I found the bodies of those missing people in their lab."

Christian clenched his fists. "So... Arnold betrayed his clan?"

"No, Arnold wants to use this experiment to combine the strengths of humans with those of vampires, disrupting the balance between humans and vampires, and thus ruling over both the vampire and human worlds."

Oliver slowly walked up to Christian and said, "Christian, I've lost all my magical powers, but my princely bloodline remains. They'll likely use me as a perfect experimental subject. Your next mission is to protect me, and then, when the opportunity arises, destroy their experimental base. Ideally, weeds and hunters involved in the experiment should be eradicated. Weeds can't be completely burned; they'll grow again in the spring breeze. Cutting the weeds means removing them at the root to cure the problem."

Christian instantly felt the weight of the burden on his shoulders, but facing his lover's expectant gaze, Christian nodded easily: "Oliver, don't worry, I will definitely protect you and the vampires!"

Oliver patted Christian's shoulder: "Okay, I'm a little tired..."

Before he could finish his words, the wires in Oliver's brain finally broke, and he felt dizzy and fell forward uncontrollably.

"Oliver!" Two voices sounded nervously. Christian, taking advantage of the geographical advantage, directly held Oliver in his arms.

Looking at his defeated lover in his arms, Christian finally couldn't help but tear off the gentle mask on his face: "Leonard, what did you do to Oliver?"

Christian had completely lost his usual elegance and gentleness. His eyes were red and he stared at Leonard like a hungry wolf.

"I... I cast a spell on her, sealing her magical powers... But I don't know how she suddenly broke through the spell and used her magical powers... I thought she had broken through the spell, but she was hit by the backlash again..."

Before Leonard could finish his words, Christian's fist, which was filled with thunderous force, had already hit him in the face.

"Do you know that you will kill her by doing this!!!" Christian roared, his eyes red, as if he wanted to tear Leonard into pieces.

Leonard wasn't frightened by Christian's appearance, but he took a step back after being frightened by Christian's words...

"You, what did you say...how could it be..." Leonard seemed to have lost his soul. He didn't dare to believe what Christian said, but Oliver, who had fainted, forced him to face reality.

"Damn it! Oliver is the most noble prince of the vampire clan. You sealed her magic. Now that the enemy is at the door, how do you expect her to protect herself? Regardless of all that, just say that you sealed Oliver's magic. How can she survive in the vampire clan with just flesh and blood?" Christian stared at Leonard viciously, tearing apart all his childish thoughts word by word, revealing the cruel truth.

"The blood miasma of the vampires is nothing to you and me, but what about Oliver? It's poison to her! It's a deadly poison!!"

Christian didn't say anything more to Leonard. He quickly carried Oliver to her room and gently placed her in the coffin.

Leonard looked at the two people walking away, wanting to say something, but as if he suddenly thought of something, he silently retracted his outstretched hands.
