The Blood Prince's Paranoid Steward (22)

The haunted house is in a relatively remote place. Perhaps it is because the amusement park wants to live up to its name of "haunted house". The closer you get to the haunted house, the stronger the cold wind blows.

Ravenel shrank her neck involuntarily when the breeze blew, and rubbed the goose bumps on her arms: "Oliver... I... I'm a little scared..."

Oliver was stunned for a moment: "Scared?"

Raven opened her 'Kaziland big eyes' and nodded innocently: "Yes, I'm a little scared..."

Oliver held his forehead and said, "Raven, have you forgotten something? You are the vampire! You are the aristocrat among ghosts. Logically, they should be afraid of you!"

Ravenel finally reacted, patted her head, and suddenly realized: "Oh, that's right!"

(Oliver: Dead.)

"I'm not afraid of fake ghosts, but I will beat the real ghost!" Ravenel hypnotized herself, hugging Oliver's arm and walking towards the haunted house tremblingly, no longer having the momentum she had at that time.

It was almost evening, so few people came to the haunted house.

The road was so quiet that the footsteps behind me seemed particularly clear.

"Da, da, da..." The giggling sound was a bit creepy, and Ravenel almost thought she had arrived at the haunted house early.

Oliver didn't notice the footsteps behind him at first. Maybe someone was going to the haunted house too, right?

However, the sound followed their footsteps... changing with their speed, and always remained three meters away from them.

"Da, da, da..." Ravenel was so scared that she almost shrank into Oliver's arms. Oliver suddenly stopped and turned his head back.

But... there was no one behind him.

"Who?!" Oliver asked sharply. A sense of danger surged into her heart. She could almost feel her heart rate reaching 130. Her hands began to sweat, and her legs felt weak, unable to muster a single bit of strength...

Oliver's intuition told him that something was wrong... and this time it was a matter of life and death:

Someone wants their lives!

"O-Oliver..."

Ravenel's voice was trembling, and she couldn't utter a complete sentence.

Oliver looked down and saw that Ravenel's face was full of fear, her big eyes were full of panic, and her pale face with the red circles under her eyes made her look like a frightened little beast.

Although he was a little scared, Oliver patted Ravenel on the back and said, "Don't be afraid, I'm here."

Ravenel didn't know why she believed the words of a "little mortal" who was even worse than herself, and believed that she could protect herself.

But after Oliver said that, he seemed to have taken a tranquilizer and soon calmed down.

Oliver had never hated Leonard so much for sealing all her bloodline cultivation. She could only call Sanduo silently in her heart.

Fortunately, Sanduo was still online: "Master, what's wrong?"

"Sanduo, search the surroundings." Oliver tried to calm himself down, staring at the front and said to Sanduo.

Before Sanduo finished searching any area, a dark shadow rushed out and attacked Ravenel directly.

"Vampire, give in!!" Ravenel's tense nerves were suddenly stretched to the limit. She squatted down in fear and yelled "Ah————!"

Although Oliver had no cultivation, fortunately he still had some skills, and he pulled the frightened Ravenel to the side.
