Chapter 327 The Horror Streamer Needs to Save Himself (Part 8)

However, if Wang Yan and Yu Ling, two girls, were to get separated and encounter bad people or wild beasts, or even enter a hallucination like the one mentioned before, things would be very difficult. But what if they got separated and couldn't be found...?

Anyway, this place is very close to the city, so even if it is really lost, it can probably be moved back in an hour or two.

If all else fails, there are still cars and motorcycles.

"I know." x5

The inconsistent responses certainly didn't seem like acting, which made Ji Hongxi nod in satisfaction; this was what a good live stream effect should be.

He led the way inside.

However, just after everyone stepped through the door...

The house numbers, like content erased by an eraser, were being replayed, revealing more details, gradually changing from number 11 to number 44...

Everyone walked in together. Wang Qiang and his companion didn't realize they had come to the wrong place. It seemed that this place had been disguised as Villa No. 11 during the day.

The interior is empty. Although it is large, very large, and extremely large, the layout is not much different from the two villas at the front.

Apart from a few old wooden tables, chairs, sofas, and coffee tables, there was no other furniture. The only differences were in the materials, the level of craftsmanship, and the size. It looked like a long-abandoned ruin, with a musty smell permeating the air.

It was that familiar stench that Wang Yan and Wu An had initially smelled, but no one else around them could smell it.

Wang Yan and her companion assumed that everyone had smelled it before and was used to it, so they kept quiet, simply covering their mouths and noses with their sleeves as they continued forward.

Ji Hongxi, who was leading the way, was still acting as a narrator in front of the camera:

"This place looks like a long-abandoned villa, and it actually is."

"Look at this carpet on the floor, and these porcelain pieces laid out here—they all look exquisite, probably worth a fortune. Much of their craftsmanship is so fine that they could be recycled. This owner is truly wealthy, simply throwing everything away here."

"Tsk tsk, this place is really nice, it looks quite beautiful. The owner is quite something, the layout is also..."

"......."

"Sizzle, sizzle—"

Ji Hongxi's words were interrupted by some inexplicable noise, and the live stream began to feature some teasing remarks that were chilling upon closer inspection, causing Zhou Qi, the cameraman reading the comments, to tremble in his voice.

Everyone reacted with varying degrees of fear, screaming and cowering.

According to the procedure, Zhou Qi must have used his position as a cameraman to activate the traps they had set up. They often did this, because an adventure without any excitement is as bland as instant noodles without seasoning.

The reaction in the live stream was pretty much what everyone had expected. With the streamer taking risks for them, and seeing how startled they were, everyone was both scared and looking forward to what would happen next. The number of viewers online increased, and everyone put on an even more energetic performance.

As an aside, this place was personally selected by Ji Hongxi from a bunch of abandoned houses and ruins. Not only that, Ji Hongxi also had Wang Qiang and the others repaint the visible areas, making it look much more dilapidated than in the photos uploaded online.

As a result, none of the viewers in the live stream could figure out the exact location of their adventure.

A strange hissing sound came from the opening and closing mechanism. As they acted out the scene, they followed the sound towards its source. When they reached a corner and the doorway of the small room where the sound was coming from, all six of them stopped abruptly.

Why is the door closed?

What's making that noise?

But this isn't the only strange thing.

All six people stopped what they were doing, but instead of quieting down, while they were pondering what was going on, they heard footsteps approaching slowly from afar.

But the floor under this villa is all carpeted, not brick, wood or cement, so it's hard to make a sound when you stomp your feet. Where did this noise come from?

Wang Yan, who was at the back of the camera, panicked again. She loosened her grip on Yu Ling's hand, turned around to find a blind spot in the shot, and mouthed to Zhou Qi, who was holding the camera, "Was this footstep sound a prop you made in advance?"

Zhou Qi shook his head.

Their conversation also attracted the attention of others around them.

The viewers in the live stream couldn't see the playful lip-syncing, but they could. Suddenly, everyone's eyes turned strange, and the 'acting' became more and more realistic. There was something really sinister going on here!

The footsteps grew clearer, and Wang Yan couldn't help but shiver again. She was a delicate girl who had never done any heavy work and was afraid of the dark, ghosts, spiders, cockroaches, and caterpillars. At this moment, she felt even more uncertain.

Only Ji Hongxi remained outwardly calm. The live stream was still running; he couldn't just sit and wait to be killed, could he? He glanced at the camera and, pretending nothing was wrong, waved to everyone, saying, "Don't worry, everyone. This is just a strange noise coming from a house that's been in disrepair for a long time."

Yu Ling glanced into the darkness where no light could be found, and saw the faceless, big-footed ghost walking towards her. She nodded in agreement, saying, "Oh, I see."

To be honest, the fact that you guys treated Villa No. 44 like Villa No. 11 during your adventures is suspicious. Are you afraid your show won't be entertaining enough?

However, she is a professional (a streamer), and if there is something interesting to watch, she will take advantage of it. After all, she knows that there is no threat to her in this room, and it is better if it is not number 11.

This means that whether the female lead has finished fighting the ghost number 11 or not, it won't bother her here. A bunch of little ghosts, they'll scare people but won't kill them. Which place around here isn't more attractive to the female lead? So she didn't say anything more.

The adventure continued, with Wang Qiang taking the lead. As before, he gently kicked open the door, and the others went in in groups of three.

Wang Yan and Yu Ling, the two girls, naturally walked at the very back. They linked arms, one on each side, standing close to Zhou Qi, making them easily visible to the camera.

As soon as the six entered the room, the door closed by itself. Only Yu Ling noticed that the lock cylinder inside was filled with yin energy, so it probably couldn't be opened.

The room was pitch black, with only Ji Hongxi's flashlight stubbornly working, but it flickered several times and the light seemed to have weakened considerably.

Wang Qiang, who had walked the fastest and reached the innermost part, felt a chill down his spine and subconsciously tightened his clothes. He turned around and saw only Ji Hongxi holding a flashlight and waving it around aimlessly behind him.

They entered an unfamiliar place, surrounded by darkness. The only flashlight they had was meant to shine around them, and Ji Hongxi was doing just that. His movements were so large that he accidentally swept the ceiling.

There, a shadowy figure with a white outline was crawling towards them.
