Xiaoya was shocked and quickly asked Moshang to hold up the phone for her. She finally understood what had happened and burst into tears as well.
It turns out Mom didn't refuse to come; something happened to her too. "That whole family are beasts, beasts! They're not human, not human at all!"
Xiaoya burst into tears.
After a long time, Xiaoya's crying gradually stopped.
"Mo Shang, please go and check on my mother, okay? Please go and check on her."
Xiaoya is still in the intensive care unit and cannot leave, not even look at her phone.

Mo Shang quickly went to find Chuncao and found her soon enough.

They naturally agreed.
Mo Shang introduced himself and then said that he and Xiao Ya were friends. "Auntie, Xiao Ya asked me to come and check on you as soon as possible. She kept thinking you didn't want to see her..."
Chuncao was also worried about Xiaoya. "I'm also very worried about Xiaoya. How is Xiaoya now?"
Chuncao knew the name Mo Shang; he was her daughter's ex-boyfriend, who was said to be a doctor.

Now she thinks the doctor is pretty good.
