Mo Yan's eyes were filled with pain. She shook her head. "Shan Shan is in a coma in the hospital right now. No matter how I call her, it's no use. Three months ago, she told me that your birthday was coming up and that I should prepare early so that she could take you back."
Upon hearing this, Fei Fei burst into tears. She realized how much she had missed.
“Feifei, we need to figure out what’s going on. I don’t believe my child would commit suicide, I don’t believe she would break off her relationship with you, and I certainly don’t believe she would go to such lengths for a man.”
Now, everything has to make me feel that this is the right answer, that this is exactly what's going on, otherwise something's not right.
All the evidence is too plausible, so it becomes implausible. "It's as if someone is orchestrating all of this behind the scenes. We must find out what's really going on."
Hearing this, Feifei nodded. "Auntie, what do you suggest we do? I want to go see Shanshan."
She's now so angry she could kill herself. Why didn't she call her over such a small thing? So what if she got scolded? Even if she got beaten, she should at least find out the truth.
Mo Shishan, what's wrong with you?
"Let's go to that murder mystery game you mentioned. Since you said it's where it all started, let's go see what's going on."
Feifei nodded, then quickly stood up and stopped drinking her coffee.
"Auntie, let's go now, I'll go pay the bill."
Feifei quickly paid the bill and then left with Moyan.
They took a taxi to the location of the murder mystery game.
They were standing at the bottom of the building, looking up at the second floor.
"Auntie, this is it."
Mo Yan looked up and found this place quite interesting.
This place has a formation, so the original owner's daughter did not commit suicide at all; this was a premeditated murder.
"Let's go up and take a look,"
Mo Yan is now eager to see what the murder mystery game venue is like.
"Okay, Auntie, I'll take you upstairs right away. I'm a member here, so I can come anytime."
Come to think of it, I haven't been here many times since I became a member; just that one time.
This piqued Mo Yan's curiosity. "Then why did you sign up for a membership here?"
Feifei really remembered this incident. It was a particularly unlucky time for the two of them, and they were thinking about having a good meal. No matter what, they decided to deal with tomorrow's problems tomorrow and focus on making the most of today.
"I was having dinner with Shanshan when someone handed us flyers and asked us to enter a lottery. They said if we won, we could get a free membership."
We both laughed at the time. How could we possibly win when we looked so unlucky? But that person kept trying to convince us.
They said maybe our luck would change, so we both entered a lottery and won.
Strangely enough, they, who had always had bad luck, actually won the lottery that day, and they thought their luck had finally turned around.
Thinking about it now, it all seems so strange.
"It seems that Shanshan has been targeted from the beginning. Let's go upstairs first."
When they went up there, they couldn't find the murder mystery game studio at all. They asked around and found out that the studio had closed down and there was a new owner.
Feifei was speechless, but they still spent money to choose the same notebook they had played with last time.
Mo Yan and Fei Fei went in together. It was a terrifying dungeon, and the NPCs inside were incredibly realistic, giving people the creeps.
"Auntie was really scared of this book. We didn't want to play it, but we had no choice because we were members who were selected through a lottery and this was the only book we could play."
Mo Yan confirmed again that there was a problem; the only option was to play this game, which was clearly meant to cause trouble for them.
"What were you thinking back then? Did you believe everything they said was right, or were you completely led by them?"
Feifei thought about it seriously and seemed to be able to recall what happened that day. She didn't know why the events of that day were so vividly etched in her mind.
"I think they're all right, it's a really good deal, I agree with everything they say, and I don't think there's a problem with anything they say."
Thinking about it now, it's quite terrifying. How could they have been right about everything? Who were they talking about? They were really scary.
"Hmm, it seems that was strange back then. Let's keep going."
At this point, Feifei got a little scared, really scared. The NPCs in this place, my god! They looked just like real people.
As they walked forward, they saw a ghost who was constantly trying to create a scene outside.
She seemed to notice them, looked up and stared at them, then started to laugh—she really started to laugh at them, and that laugh was even more terrifying.
Feifei was so frightened that her hair stood on end, and she held tightly to Aunt Moyan's hand.
The next second, the ghost appeared in front of them.
"Aaaaaah!"
That ghost is about to make its move.
Mo Yan kicked it out.
Ghost: "???" Is that polite?
Feifei: "???"
"Auntie, this..." Can we fight NPCs? Why can't she remember?
The ghost was extremely aggrieved. She hadn't done anything wrong, so why was she being bullied?
She instantly transformed into a completely different person, becoming hideous.
"Auntie, auntie, look at this guy, he's terrifying! He can even transform! This is ridiculous!"
This is even more terrifying than what they saw last time they came here.
"It's okay, it's all fake."
A ghost: "???" Does she think she's fake?
