Upon hearing this, Kang Tinglan burst into tears, heartbroken, yet she still had to sit down and continue working.
Before long, they heard that the old lady and everyone else had made something incredibly successful, something so spicy it made people wet themselves.
Hearing about those methods, Kang Tinglan felt it was too much. How could they do such a thing? How could they hurt others like that?
She secretly ran away, ran to the foot of the city gate, knelt down with a thud, and began shouting towards the city gate.
"Grandmother, please hear what your granddaughter has to say."
Mo Yan was studying something when she heard this, and she was so angry that she wanted to kill someone. Why did this disgusting thing come again?
Mo Yan went straight down from the city wall, walked over coldly, and slapped her face several times.
The beating made Kang Tinglan dizzy and her mouth swelled up.
Kang Tinglan looked at Mo Yan in disbelief. How could her grandmother hit her?
"What are you looking at me for? Do you think I didn't hit enough? I think so too. You can hit as many people as you want, even if they can't understand human language."
Kang Tinglan: "..."
How could Grandmother say that?
"Grandmother, your methods are too cruel. When two armies fight, they should fight openly and fairly. How can you use such cruel methods?"
Upon hearing this, Mo Yan exclaimed, "Oh dear, so they've come to interrogate me!"
"They're already trying to beat you up and steal your things, and you're still thinking about getting along well with them? Kang Tinglan, is your brain full of shit? Or are you just pretending to be kind?"
Otherwise, Mo Yan really couldn't think of any other reason. Was she trying to portray herself as a kind-hearted person, disregarding everyone else's lives?
"I thought you were selfish, but I didn't expect you to be a fucking idiot."
Kang Tinglan: "..."
"Grandmother, a gentleman has things he will do and things he will not do."
"I'm not a gentleman. All that talk about being a gentleman is just for show. I know that whoever wants to break through the city will have to step over my dead body. Since you think the other side is reasonable, then you go and talk to them. Let's see if you have the ability."
Kang Tinglan: "???"
Mo Yan immediately ordered her men to arrest her.
"Since Kang Tinglan's heart is still with him, let her go back. Perhaps he is her true family."
Mo Yan looked at Kang Tinglan indifferently, her eyes filled with a hint of disgust.
Didn't you say we should talk properly?
Didn't you say that Prince An was exceptionally kind and wouldn't make things difficult for the people?
"Then go ahead and prove it to me. I want to see if you can change his mind."
Didn't you want to be the Virgin Mary? Then go ahead and wreak havoc on the other side.
“Grandmother…” Kang Tinglan frowned. “I am Father’s daughter.”
"You're not her. My son doesn't have a single daughter who wants him to run away. I suspect you're not my granddaughter, Kang Tinglan. You're an inside agent sent by the other side. Men, throw her out. Just don't cripple her. Tie her to a basket and hang her down. We opened the city gates for her without a second thought!"
Looking at the tall city wall, Mo Yan kindly said, "You'd better hold on tight to the basket, or you might fall and turn into a meat pie."
Kang Tinglan: "!!!"
Kang Tinglan's eyes were filled with disbelief. She couldn't believe that her grandmother, who had always doted on her, could do such a heartless thing.
"Grandmother, how can you watch me die? There are enemies all over the place!" she roared at Mo Yan.
Those below are all enemies; sending her down is tantamount to sending her to her death.
"So you knew they were all enemies? Didn't you say they were all friends? Didn't you say you wanted to live in peace with them? Didn't you say you wanted to influence them with love?"
Mo Yan looked at Kang Tinglan's swaying body and questioned her one question after another.
Since they're all friends, what is she afraid of?
Why is she hesitating when she says she won't harm the people?
"Didn't you say that as long as you get out, you definitely won't be harmed? You said that Prince An is friendly, right?"
You said you wanted to believe that everyone is kind, so why don't you believe it yourself now?
With each word Mo Yan spoke, Kang Tinglan's face grew paler.
Even though she said that, ... but you can't gamble.
"Alright, put her down. I want to see if her claim that Prince An is actually a peace lover is true."
Mo Yan had her stuffed into the basket, and just as they were about to lift her up, she suddenly jumped out of the basket and knelt down in front of Mo Yan.
"Grandmother, Grandmother, I was wrong, I was wrong. Please don't do this to me, please."
She was scared, she was really scared. What would happen to her if Prince An didn't save her? She didn't even dare to think about it!
“Kang Tinglan, are you scared now? You don’t dare to try anymore? Too late! From the moment you wanted to abandon the people here, you were no longer my granddaughter. Tie her up and throw her down.”
Mo Yan spoke without changing her expression: Since this kind of person hasn't even thought about the people of the city, why should they think about her?
"yes."
Soon someone tied her up, threw her into a basket, and lowered her directly to the foot of the city wall.
Looking down, Mo Yan kindly shouted towards the other side.
“Prince An, I heard you are quite familiar with Kang Tinglan. Now I’m giving her to you. No need to thank me.”
Mo Yan picked up the basket, leaped down, and threw it to the other side.
The scene was incredibly beautiful. As for Kang Tinglan, she was already screaming in terror, screaming incessantly.
