"Really not?" Mo Yan asked again.
“No.” Rong Ze nodded and looked at Mo Yan seriously. “The one who saved the princess back then was your husband, Rong Xun.”
Mo Yan suddenly smiled, "Is that so, Prince Rongze? I will repay what I owe you. I will definitely heal your leg in the future. We have arrived at the palace. Thank you for giving my son and me a ride."
Mo Yan led Rong Chu out of the carriage, and they had already arrived at the palace gate.
Mo Yan took out her princess token and went straight inside.
Rong Ze clenched his fists tightly, watching her nearly fall as she went in. Was she injured?
What's going on with Rong Xun? Why did he let Mo Yan get hurt?
Why would Mo Yan suddenly ask about the truth of what happened back then?
Rong Ze didn't understand, yet he was afraid to think about what was going on.
There are no missed opportunities in the world without a reason. Back then, Rong Ze didn't tell the original owner the truth because of brotherhood, which meant he gave up on this relationship.
The original owner didn't even know who saved her, and she loved an enemy her whole life. She even dragged her son down with her, so she wasn't a good person either. Therefore, it's perfectly normal that they missed each other.
This was Rong Chu's first time leaving the prince's residence and his first time entering the palace; he was only about five years old at the time. In the Dragon Clan, he would still be a baby.
"My little one, Mommy is going to take you to see your grandfather. Are you scared?"
"I'm not afraid." Rong Chu shook her head. With her mother around, she wasn't afraid of anything. "With my mother around, Rong Chu isn't afraid of anything."
Oh my, her little one really knows how to talk.
"Yes, with your mother here, little one has nothing to fear. Once your mother has avenged you, we'll return to the Dragon Clan, and your mother will take you to see the ocean and the world."

This was the first time the emperor had seen Rong Chu. He had asked Rong Xun before, and Rong Xun had always said that Rong Chu was in poor health and that Mo Yan did not want to bring her into the palace. Now that he saw Rong Chu, the emperor was overjoyed and waved to her.
"Rong Chu, come quickly to Grandpa's side."
Rong Chu immediately ran over and obediently looked at the emperor's face, "Greetings, Your Majesty."
"Mo Yan, you're feeling much better now, aren't you? Tell me, how long has it been since you came to the palace to see me every day?"
