After they finished speaking, they were about to leave. Two of the policemen, who were probably new to the job, looked at Mo Yan several times with a hint of pity.
"What if I disagree and you still call the police?"
Captain Wan stopped again, his face quite grim. What was wrong with Mo Yan? Was she shameless?
He turned around and looked at Mo Yan seriously. "If this is how you want it to be, we'll have no choice but to take you back. Police resources can't be wasted without a reason."
Mo Yan forced a sarcastic smile, pointed to her injury, and her eyes were full of mockery. "Uncle, look at my report. How can you say that without batting an eye?"

Captain Wan's face stiffened, clearly realizing he had said something wrong, and he quickly corrected himself.

Captain Wan turned to the group of people who had come with him and said, "You guys go outside and wait for me. I need to have a word with Mo Yan alone."
The others glanced at each other before finally looking at Captain Wan. "Okay."
They quickly went outside and waited in the hallway.
They were whispering among themselves, "Is that person in there our captain's niece-in-law?"
"Yeah, didn't we just say that the one who hit someone was the captain, nephew? I didn't expect that."
They really didn't expect that the captain's nephew could be so ruthless.
"The captain is about to retire. If something happens to him before he retires, it won't look good."
This is also one of the reasons why Captain Wan doesn't want Mo Yan to cause trouble.
He's about to retire, and he hopes to take one more step forward before he does.

"Hey, why are you so stubborn? Why are you looking at me like that? Do you think what I said is wrong?" Captain Wan's voice rose considerably.
I was a little angry, feeling that this person was ungrateful.
"Putting everything else aside, just look at your two children. They are at a crucial time in their college years. If something happens to their father, it will seriously affect their future. Don't you want them to have a better life?"

Captain Wan was furious that after all his earnest advice, the man hadn't listened to a word.
"I've said so much, and you haven't listened to a single word? It's not that I don't want you to call the police, but even if you do, it's just a family dispute, and there's no way to file a case. It'll just make it known to everyone, so why bother?"
"Does it sound good to sue Wan Lin?"
He just couldn't understand why this person couldn't understand what he was saying and why he was so selfish.
Mo Yan fell silent, looking at the person in front of her, before finally speaking. "Uncle, are you really doing this for me, or for your nephew?"
