Guo Jingjing clutched her aching shoulder, gritting her teeth as she watched the two figures disappear into the distance.
She turned around and found that her classmates were looking at her strangely.
He roared, "What are you looking at? You ignorant fool!"
Then, with a dark expression, she stormed out of the classroom. As soon as Guo Jingjing left, the atmosphere in the classroom became lively.
"Pah! That Guo Jingjing is really something else. She gossips behind people's backs, and when she can't argue with them, she skips class and then blames Xu Qing for making her skip class? I've never seen such a jerk."
"Exactly, she's not good-looking, and her heart isn't much better. I sit near her, and I often hear her badmouthing the people she's close to. She's a two-faced person."
Guo Jingjing wasn't very popular in her class to begin with, and that last remark just now angered everyone even more.
Inside the cafeteria, because it was the beginning of the semester, there were an unusually large number of people topping up and applying for meal cards, so Yaoyao ended up eating at Yunshan's cafeteria.
Yunshan watched as her classmates passed by, staring at their plates and exclaiming, "Wow! Xu Qing, look! There are sweet and sour pork ribs today! And that fish too! It looks so delicious!"
The cafeteria at Wenyang No.1 Middle School lived up to its reputation; at least, it looked much tastier than those at other schools.
However, Yao Yao is still not used to so many people eating in a small space.
After getting their food, since it was lunchtime, almost all the seats in the cafeteria were full. When they finally found a place where no one was sitting, Yunshan pulled Yaoyao over there.
The girl, who had just put the plate down, said, "Sorry, this is already taken."
Yunshan frowned. "This table is so big, we can just sit on one side. You can't possibly fill the whole table, can you?"
Just then, the girl's companion seemed to return with her food, waving and saying...
"Sister Qiao is here."
Then an unfriendly voice rang out, "Oh, who do we have here? Isn't this our new classmate Xu Qing? What? Nowhere to sit?"
The person who arrived was Guo Jingjing, but this time she wasn't alone; she was accompanied by four or five other girls.
Guo Jingjing sat down without ceremony, right next to Yao Yao. "I'm sorry, we've already arrived, so there's probably no room for you."
There were six girls, and there was more than enough room for Yaoyao and Yunshan to sit down, but they all sat down with a lot of space between them, so there was no room to stand.
Faced with the malicious laughter of Guo Jingjing and the girls around her, Yunshan wanted to say something, but it wasn't appropriate to say anything under the circumstances.
Then, someone at the next table shouted, "Hey, we have seats here, you can come over here."
The table next to us was occupied by four boys, and there were clearly plenty of empty seats. But that's not the point. The point is...
Yunshan saw Yu Cen sitting inside, nicknamed "Wen Yang the Straight Man." He was considered a campus heartthrob.
Yunshan glanced at Guo Jingjing's incredulous gaze, then, as if triumphant, pulled Yaoyao down to sit.
He thanked them with a forced smile, but his eyes kept glancing at Guo Jingjing.
Guo Jingjing, nicknamed "Fox Spirit," secretly resented the idea. A young girl's heart is always filled with poetry; who hasn't fantasized about a boy in white during their teenage years?
Yu Cen is undoubtedly the white-clad boy in the hearts of many young girls.
Guo Jingjing glanced at Yao Yao, who was moving slowly and deliberately, and poked at the food on her plate, muttering under her breath, "So pretentious, so shameless."
Wang Qiao glanced at Yao Yao to the side, feeling somewhat uncomfortable herself. Then, turning to look at Guo Jingjing, who was poking at the plate, she knew she was one of Guo's subordinates, so she asked directly and bluntly...
"You have a grudge against her? Didn't you just transfer schools yesterday?"
