Chapter 25 The Unloved Daughter and the Romantic Prince

"Find a time and invite your sister to come to the house. We should have a small family gathering. After all, I am her brother-in-law. She has to see me eventually."

Hearing this, Tang Qingyue subconsciously wanted to refuse, not because she felt so sorry for Tang Wan, but because she knew too well how beautiful Tang Wan was now.

If Tang Wan was really allowed to enter the mansion, where would she have a place to stay in this huge mansion of the Marquis of Loyalty and Bravery?

By then, I'm afraid there won't even be beatings or scoldings anymore, and all we'll get is disgust.

However, when she looked at the blood on He Yi's hand, her legs trembled and she swallowed.

She suddenly remembered Tang Wan being beaten, and a strange sense of pleasure rose in her heart. She quickly suppressed the emotion in her eyes: "Yes, I will, my husband, don't worry."

He Yi patted her face, as if he was admiring her understanding, but also as a teasing mockery.

"In a few days, I'll send a separate invitation to my sister so that we can have a good family reunion."

"That's right, Tang Shi, of all the people in this world, you still understand my thoughts the best."

Tang Qingyue was so angry that she dared not say anything and could only kneel there awkwardly.

"Let's go. Haven't you eaten yet?"

Hearing these words, Tang Qingyue's eyes sparkled with light, and her heart felt much more relieved and warm.

She knew that her husband cared about her and even asked if she had eaten.

She knew that no matter how beautiful those vixens were, they were just passing clouds, and she was the one her husband loved the most.

..............

After Mo Tingzhu returned, he felt a chill on his back and an itchy throat.

Suddenly I felt something was wrong.

This is a sign of catching a cold.

Sure enough, he developed a fever that night, his entire face was red, and even his thin eyelids were red.

He looked somewhat pitiful, with his eyes drooping at the moment. He grabbed the corner of Tang Wan's clothes with both hands, but did not dare to look at her.

"Some people, who said they won't catch a cold?" Tang Wan raised her eyelids lightly, but with a particularly intimidating look.

Mo Tingzhu shuddered, remembering the time when he was scolded: "Today was really an accident. I was just careless on the way here and was exposed to the wind for a while. I didn't know I would have a fever..."

He looked pitiful, with tears in his eyes and a red nose. His voice became lower and lower, and his throat seemed to be blocked by something.

"You, you, you are always disobedient."

"Why do I feel like you are scolding a child?" He was a little dissatisfied. He would soon be an adult and could no longer be like before because he was already a mature adult.

His wife is several years younger than him.

"Because only children are disobedient." She handed the porcelain spoon filled with black medicine to his mouth: "Drink."

Mo Tingzhu took a sip and instantly felt like he was going to heaven.

It’s bitter, so bitter.

He frowned, his face wrinkled, and he felt like his heart was being tightened.

I swallowed it with difficulty, and when the scalding liquid medicine slid down my tongue into my throat, I almost couldn't help vomiting.

It's too hard to drink.

He took only one sip and then dodged, smiling awkwardly: "I think my cold has healed."

"Hmm?" Tang Wan narrowed her eyes, looking dangerous.

"I drink it. I drink it. Is that not okay with me?" He drank it with a sad face and pinched his nose.

After drinking it, I felt a bitter acid reflux from the tip of my tongue and teeth to my stomach.

He stretched out his hand, intending to ask for candied fruit. After all, when he took medicine in the past, he would have candied fruit to eat after drinking it.

Tang Wan just patted his palm, and with a crisp "paji" sound, Mo Tingzhu was stunned.

Sick people are prone to feeling wronged. Headaches, fever, and sore eyes make them even more sensitive. Tears welled up in his eyes. "You hit me!"

Tang Wan was puzzled: "You stretched out your palm, don't you want me to hit you?"

"I was asking for candied fruit!" He was over eight feet tall, curled up on the small bed, his usually cold face now looked extremely aggrieved because his wife had slapped his palm and he started crying.

"Didn't you say you're not a child anymore? Why are you still asking for candied fruit?"

After hearing these words, Mo Tingzhu was even more upset. It was a mockery, a blatant mockery.

No one, let alone a man, can accept such ridicule.

He pulled the quilt up to cover his head, turned over and ignored everyone.

He thought to himself that as long as she apologized, he would forgive her.

His forehead felt heavy and ponderous, as if filled with lead.

But I heard the footsteps gradually fading away, and the door creaked open without any sound.

He pursed his lips and thought to himself, "Actually, I don't really want her to apologize to me."

"It's so funny! There are so many people in this world who are willing to be friends with him, who are willing to submit to him. Why would he hang himself on a tree?"

Then it gradually evolved into.

"Put yourself in her shoes. Maybe it was because I was too unreasonable that she turned and left. Ultimately, it was all my fault."

As he was thinking and about to fall asleep, the door was opened again.

Tang Wan walked in carrying a food box.

Mo Tingzhu's ears moved, but he still pretended to be asleep and closed his eyes.

"Husband, get up, get up and eat something."

Tang Wan woke him up.

Originally he didn't want to move, but because he was sweating too much and felt sticky, he decided to get up and take a shower.
