Chapter 63 The Arrogant Princess VS The Hostage Prince of the Enemy Country (26)

After several days of rumors, some people gradually came to believe them without a doubt.

For example, Wei Yucheng is one of them.

Whether it was psychological or something else, Wei Yuchen, watching Lin Han sleeping on the recliner from the shadows, felt that her face was extremely pale, and even her lips had no color at all.

So from then on, Lin Han would receive a bouquet of flowers every day, sometimes by the window, sometimes just placed in a vase, with a different bouquet each day.

However, some flowers that appeared outside the window or in the yard were ruthlessly discarded by Lin Han.

Two weeks later, Wei Yucheng was caught red-handed by Lin Han as she was about to put the flowers into Lin Han's vase.

Wei Yuchen looked at Lin Han in front of him, wanting to explain, but he didn't know where to begin.

"Long time no see, I'm back." Wei Yucheng could only greet Lin Han in the most ordinary way.

"Young master, who are you? It is truly ungentlemanly to trespass into a woman's boudoir." Lin Han looked at Wei Yuchen, his eyes showing no emotion, and said coldly.

Wei Yucheng had long anticipated Lin Han's reaction, since it was indeed wrong of him to leave without saying goodbye. Therefore, he did not feel upset at this moment, but sincerely apologized.

"Ah Han, I was wrong. You can punish me however you want, I promise I won't complain." Wei Yuchen put on a pitiful look for Lin Han, trying to get even a little bit of forgiveness from her.

"How could that be? You did nothing wrong, I was the one who was wrong, so why should I be punished?" Lin Han walked straight past Wei Yuchen and said sarcastically.

Ignoring everything else, Wei Yuchen hugged Lin Han from behind, rested his head on her shoulder, and said to her, "Han, don't be angry, okay? I really know I was wrong. Look at you, you've lost weight."

"I haven't lost weight. Thanks to you, I've been eating and sleeping well these past few days, living a really comfortable life. How could I lose weight?" Lin Han said, looking at her chubby little hands.

"Also, isn't it too late for you to come back now? Father has ordered me to go and marry a foreign ruler," Lin Han said deliberately to Wei Yuchen.

But Wei Yuchen was not angry at all. Instead, the corners of his mouth turned up slightly. However, he hid it well and Lin Han did not notice.

"Then what should we do? How about I try to steal the bride on the wedding day?" Wei Yuchen said slowly after pretending to think for a moment.

"Hmph, who said I have to follow you just because you're trying to take something from me? Aren't you being a bit too narcissistic?" Lin Han clicked her tongue.

"It's okay, as long as you choose me." Wei Yucheng didn't care what Lin Han said, as long as he knew that she would choose him in the end.

"Wei Yuchen, are you sure you can take me for granted? Is that why you haven't sent me any letters for two whole years?" Lin Han was also helpless with Wei Yuchen, but even though she was convinced, she still had to settle the score.

“I can explain this. Come on, don’t be angry, sit down and I’ll explain it to you.”

Wei Yucheng released Lin Han, pulled her to sit down on a chair, and then told Lin Han in detail about everything that had happened to her in the past two years.

Lin Han listened patiently. In fact, by the end she was no longer angry with Wei Yuchen, but was just teasing him.

"So you're the one who's going to marry me, huh?" Lin Han said to Wei Yuchen.

Wei Yucheng nodded smugly and said proudly, "Surprised? Unexpected? I said I would marry you, and I will not let you down."

"Wow, what a surprise, what an unexpected turn of events! So now I can deal with you, right? You kept it a secret pretty well." Lin Han stood up, hooked herself on his back, and gave Wei Yuchen a fatal chokehold.
